"Sin" and "Something I Can Never Have" still kill me.

I think it's a good point about how the perspective of the song kinda flips, and I know Gotye has said that's when he knew he had something on his hands. I also understand how people expect it to be more than it is based on the hype. But the fact that it's such a simply beautiful song and generated that organic hype…
For whatever it's worth, Check Your Head is pretty next level in spit of itself. They were on quite a roll there.
It's relative ordinariness is what struck me so much about it. There's no real smoke and mirrors, and yet it caught on at such a high level. It's such a rare, uncynical assent, and to me, a rare instance where they resulting hype is actually kind of inspiring since all the excitement's over such a simple, pretty,…
Ha! Re: Sheltie/Brad Dourif.
LOVED Drive. Check out Brosnon by the same director if you can. Tom Hardy just owns it, but it's got a lot of the same arty touches.
Exxxxxactly.
Hehe.
Reading this thread made my day. And good point about J.R. taking more than his share of humiliation for the team. These guys just get the entertainment value on every level. And NOTHING was ever better than JR doing color for a Kane match.

This show is insane.
Seriously, what is up with the dick doctor?

By the by, sorry if I wasn't able to be more active in this discussion, but I want to thank everyone for their thoughtful reactions to the show and review, and each other's comments. It's been really thought-provoking.
It's a really hard thing to assess at all given how uncomfortable American men are being honest about their sexuality. I think that's the nuance, and I think it probably informs whatever bias or frustration Savage might seem to have about the issue.
I think that's the whole reason to cheer for this show. You don't have to take it as gospel, but it raises more honest discussion.
You got it. Very glad to help.
Hahahah. Sadly, no.
This is interesting, because this maybe supports the notion that it was for the best to censor its explicit language. The overall message still gets through though (i.e. tolerance, intelligence, but also fun and respectful exploration). I'd recommend checking out clips online first for yourself, since it's hard to say…
There's an obvious irony to the joke given that he's gay, but it was mostly a reference to his research into genital stimulation across genders.
"What if there are no other Jews at your uni?" Tranfer.
