Tim DeKay is just so good.
Tim DeKay is just so good.
Mmmm. Capers. Suddenly I want a bagel w/ lox.
True. It's a good thing he doesn't have involuntary tics.
They actually filmed scenes for this season in front of my old building in Brooklyn. They also do a ton of stuff in Long Island City's Silvercup Studios.
Would have been hilarious if he dropped the Raphael.
I wish Sara just acted a bit younger.
Re: the treasure, music box et al, I was just impressed about how they gave all of that relevance in this ep.
Interesting that the nod was so open to interpretation or just simply hard to detect. But yeah, I noticed it and took it as a head's-up. But still, both Peter and Neal's expressions in the final moments can still be open to individual opinion. Good stuff, and thanks so much for the support of the recaps.
Don't forget: Diana and Neal have bonded over dinner dates and undercover missions.
Don't know if you saw my own man-crush homage to Mr. Bomer:

Totally. Would be shocked if his dad didn't show up next season, or if Neal wasn't pursuing him while being pursued by the FBI, and that's what leads to him tripping up.
I was thinking about the "spoilers" thing, and ultimately, those promos are probably meant to allure people who haven't tuned in and broadly catch them up with the state of urgency, so it's best to just turn a blind eye or fast forward when they air.
Ideally, I'd love to see Peter and Kramer both pursuing Neal for different reasons, but I definitely wouldn't want such a big time jump that Neal's already back in NYC or in prison and we unravel what happened in flashback or anecdotal summary.
Skittledog: I too would have liked to see Diana's testimony. She's a great character and could be more central next year as the action gets split between Neal and Mozzie and Peter and his team (I imagine Bridges might not be coming back but who knows?)
I think the idea was Neal needed to get some closure on something with her before however the whole situation turned out. Some part of him probably knew it might not go his way.
Man, consider me humbled. I really appreciate it.
If anything, it probably means the show might have some cool international locations in addition to NYC, which could be fun.
Sometimes the stunts are fun, but sometimes they don't need them when there's enough natural tension.
RantersParadise: Not sure I feel for him per se for having a plum role that will launch him into film stardom, but I also don't know that this role has really typecast or limited his outside opps other. And I did see him in TCM, but man, that movie stunk.
Solid, succinct firstie.
