That pigeon plot definitely flew the coop.

I think we might need to put a moratorium on the term "showrunner" soon. Whatever happened to "creator"? One is just the "inside-baseball" alternative to the other. Just thinking out loud here.

Yeah, I don't remember critiquing Bomer even gently in many many episodes.

I appreciate your appreciation for Bomer. My appreciation for DeKay is totally mutually exclusive, I assure you, and my appreciation for their atypical buddy-cop-show dynamic is a credit to the show.

My feeling is a lot of the season will be what gets in his way of getting the anklet off, so we can probably hold off on our fears of  how the show will survive when he's free for another half season :) Also, I'd suspect more focus would be placed on his romantic life once he's free.

Interesting point about Neal building a family around him. Guess it explains his boundless hold over even the people he betrays.

Well, folks, now you know the writers are readin'….

I've been meaning to catch up forever….

I hear you on the discrepancies, but it's why I suggest just suspending disbelief when a story is operating on such a high level of economy.  It's a tightrope.

Exactly.

I appreciate that they give her character plenty to do, although if I'm being honest, I'm not sure I find Thiessen to be super-charismatic all of the time. Though that damn Satchmo gets me every time.

Shes also Louis C.K.'s frequent producing partner and co-star. And awesome.

By the by, if there's anything you'd like me to specifically keep an eye on or discuss more as the season goes on, I'm always happy to do my best and keep things interesting.

It seems she'll be a bit more in the background this season, and that Bates is a good foil while Hank moves on to other pursuits. She's kind of a weird actress in general. Sort of perfect in Solaris though,

It's fist. Thanks for spotting a possible typo on it. Will fix.

Naw. If anything, it's more expensive because you owe the original writer their share and the covering performer, unless the covering performer is responsible for sharing their end with the original writer. At the least, it's a wash. I think it's just an aesthetic choice. Kind of keeps with the hesitantly forward

Ha. Nope. Just a Grey Poupon reference, not a Grey Coupon reference.

I don't think it will. And I like Bates. I also hope the RZA conflict doesn't get toooooo serious.

Huh. Yeah, I guess that's kind of a motif of the show, along with the ep titles lifted from song titles. One of the little wrinkles of this show that I love.

Interesting. I suppose I should have just looked it up, so thank you for supporting my laziness.
