I was really confused when Arya yelled at the Hound that he should go to hell during the sword fight. Do any of the religions of Westeros have a concept of Hell? I don't remember that ever coming up.

Don't forget whats-his-name that dumped Karen. I wanna say Bel? Biv? Devoe?
It's a show about a show called Bombshell. They're kind of screwed anyway, so what's a little more?
I'm trying to pretend that was meta commentary on Bombshell/Smash being desperate for publicity?
That second paper is really short, right?
You should see that guy in Top of the Lake. He has tattoos on the side of his head. Horrible. (Also, a nearly nude scene. Ew.)
I think pantsuits date to the early '70s, or maybe a bit before. However, those tended to be weird, bell-bottomed polyester abominations (think Mary Tyler Moore). Pantsuits that were closer to an equivalent in formalness to menswear didn't come about until the '80s.
Sea of Japan, man.
The $4 price hike isn't for all Instant subscribers, only those who want to stream with up to four devices at once. If you never stream simultaneously with more than two devices (no matter how many different devices you may stream on), you can stick with the $8 plan.
Also, they have the first three seasons of Justified and all of The Shield. (You can do the free month to test it out.)
I do have HBO and still download Game of Thrones. I don't want to upgrade to the expensive Directv DVR that will allow me to have OnDemand, Directv won't let me stream HBOGo through HDMI, from my Roku or Fire, and my housemate's tv doesn't have a VGA input. Screw 'em.
Not that there's any expectation that anything in this show makes sense or is reasonable, but was there a point to the repeated shot of the medical marijuana dispensary in the small town? The small town in Pennsylvania, which is not a state that has legal medical marijuana? Was it a stupid (repeated) mistake, or…
Yup, Shelley was a resurrected Frankenstein (also, the family name was God-free. so subtle). I don't know why her rich family couldn't afford a nicer glass eye, or why bringing her back from the dead made her a giant. In the finale, they had Letha being resurrected, too, by the super magical science lab. Hoo, boy,…
Pandora is under the mistaken impression I love Sting. I could populate a station with Country-Rap-Trance, it will play "If I Ever Lose My Faith" by the third song in. It's so bad I shitcanned it.
I think time tempers our memories to a certain extent. Personally, I do not recall the 9/11 coverage to have been "much more measured and accurately reported". Were you watching something other than US news sources that day?
Officially or technically?
I was most highly amused by the legions on Twitter who were listening to a police scanner for the first time in their lives, but were immediately convinced they were experts with lots of advice for the police on how they should be doing things both on (and with) the radios and on the streets. Thankfully, the media…
@avclub-7f538a2a6877984c16a663af38fb84d3:disqus You would have preferred that the streets be filled with innocent bystanders and vigilante mobs while the cops hunted for an armed bomber?
Bohemia is actually in the Czech Republic these days.
They will make you get cats, fall in love with them, and then kill them.
