Classic Poe.

Jarl Haraldson is dead?  Viking funeral?  Fuck yeah.

@avclub-4c22933415130955839224009df8641f:disqus Ugh, yawn, you're one of those exhausting people who will make a thousand excuses for a show that looks pretty even if it makes zero sense.  There is a difference between a plothole and a problem in the essential premise of the show.  And if Will IS the show, yikes.

The entire premise of the show is that Will is partners with a killer who drops lots of double entrendres about how he is a killer, and, if the pilot is any indication, commits copycat crimes that could only be done by someone with inside information.  That doesn't make Will look clever.

That is an epically '90s haircut Bronn is sporting in some of those videos.  Well, the one I actually watched.

" it’s turned into a long parade of talented people and Katharine McPhee"
Smash in a nutshell.

That's also true of MH-P's show, but, of course, that's on MSNBC, too.

I never have a problem following the discussion.  Maybe the reviewer doesn't watch a lot of panel shows?  It's five people talking, live.  It's inevitable that people talk over each other occasionally.  The only time that annoys me is when one person (it's always one person) continually interrupts one or more other

You mean, like a terrible ski accident that affects his memory so he keeps reliving the same day over and over?

Wanda had a late-night show on Fox.  Lasted 21 episodes.  IIIRC, she (and everyone else on stage) drank heavily on air, which was… interesting.

Well, okay, as long as you're a white guy.

@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus True, but the actual runtime of their hour-long shows is seldom 60 minutes.  There's a few minutes at the beginning for intro and blurbs for corporate sponsors, and almost always a good chunk of promos at the end.

It's one of the web-only Hulu shows, isn't it?  Hulu runs like crap on my laptop, though I have no problem with it on my Roku.

I guess I'm just a philistine who can't appreciate "dream theater" because I thought it was crap.  Pretty-looking crap, but crap nonetheless.   I cannot get on board for Will Graham, World's Stupidest Detective (who is not an FBI agent, but does carry a gun).  It all just seemed to be an excuse for a lot of blood

I picked it up right away because it reminded me of a Roseanne episode where they used characters hearing dramatic non-diagenitic music as a device. (The IRS episode, for those who remember.)

Not that it makes it more interesting, but Jeremy wasn't so much hitting on women as obsessing over Mindy's friend.  Did that plot even have a resolution?

This is the special DVD box set you get if you pledge $500.  You also should be getting a tote bag soon.

It's likely filling an hour long slot (it's a PBS drama-type documentary), so closer to 45 minutes per episode, more or less.

She also spent the night in an unheated apartment sleeping in a tank top and no socks.  Our power was out during Sandy, when it wasn't nearly so cold, and I slept in so many layers.  Watson must have a basal body temperature of 103.
