I'd much prefer they adapt Splinter Cell than Metal Gear Solid. MGS is far too valuable to have a potentially bad movie besmirch it's legacy. Also, its nice to see video game adaptations that look not-terrible to wash away the memories of  Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter, Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat and many other…
