As I'm watching this and Sleepy Hollow promos come on, I can't help but feel like the writers for that show are having way more fun than Gotham writers.

I agree. He was excellent in Luck.

What'd you watch instead? My 7 o'clock slot on Mondays is now vacant.

Yes, Flubba. He did teleport.

I beg to differ. I think the Balloonman is the only thing that's worked so far, when it comes to villains, for this show. Methinks they should drop the "gritty realism" and just go full Schumacher.

But the clue had three letters!

Nix, nix. Gordon's too busy trying to figure out the cryptic letters on a piece of paper that the professional killer left on his H.R. desk.

There was a pull-quote from somebody/somewhere claiming it to be "sheer brilliance."

I applaud you holding out for 6. I'm surprised I made it to 4.

Let's see hereā€¦

You sure are acting strange, Hugo.

Precisely. I couldn't help but smile with glee at the idea of a guy hooking people up to weather balloons no matter how preposterous it would actually be in reality. It felt like I was finally watching a comic book show instead of a show inspired by a comic book.

I personally would love it to be Noir Camp ala Batman Forever.

I had such high hopes for Donal Logue, but the writers are giving him pure shit to work with.

It really comes down to the writing. Oh, and how James Gordon doesn't have a mustache.

Doubtful. Just wait 'til the mid-season finale. You're not going to miss a whole lot in the meantime.

Nah. They'll just see if Hugh Laurie's available to play Hugo Strange.

Yes! Now they'll be able to fit in those episodes that explain why Alfred's such a dick.

Pretty sure it's safe to say Capone was a bit unhinged during this time of his life.

So, Chalky gave up so Daughter and her daughter could get out of there alive, right?
