I think the first mention was in this great sketch from earlier in season 3.
Not nearly as impressive as Peter Serafinowicz's 50 impressions in 2 minutes
Agreed. Anything with Matt Gourley already has my interest, and this podcast definitely sounds like it will lead to some cool stories
Another reason why Noah is probably divorced: he says "I'll call you when I get home" to his son, so they probably don't live together any more.
I loved all of Scott's reactions this episode, particularly during the Wayne Coyne candy story when he would nod in approval every time Wayne read a name of a candy.
Actually I think almost everyone in the comments really liked the show by the end and wanted a second season.
I'm not familiar with too many other impressionists, but I think what makes Adomian better is that the impression isn't the entire joke. It's not just "hey I sound just like Jessie Ventura, isn't that funny", he uses the impression to create a character and say funny things as that character.
They can go back and CGI her face over Jessica Paré's for the dvd boxset.
The writer of the episode did a reddit AMA and said the jelly babies were Capaldi's idea. So you can add that to the list of reasons why Capaldi is a fantastic Doctor.
Wow. I was already looking forward to this movie, but I'm actually surprised at how well it seems to have captured Pynchon's style, particularly the humor.
All jokes aside he's actually a very funny comedian and with a last name like Rust it's almost as if he likeschemicalssomuchhe'slikeWalterWhite.
it probably wasn't on Conan because the clip would have been this
They're also releasing Songs of Experience at some point according to Bono so we have at least 2 ep's of UTU2TM to look forward to.
I really loved this episode. It had some of the best direction and cinematography I've ever seen from this show, and Capaldi was even better than last week. I'm also liking the Doctor/Clara chemistry a lot more this season.
I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl! pretty great stuff.
I would turn my adblock off for this site if it meant they would cover Look Around You, and that's not a promise I make lightly. God I love that show.
I agree, the lack of laughs in this episode in particular was disappointing. That being said, the "secret dogs!" line was the only line that actually made me laugh out loud during season 4, and it's one of only two jokes from the entire season that I actually remember (the other being "hogan's villains").
actually Poison Ivy is in the pilot, and she's a little kid. and it's really stupid.
well Season 18 gave us this quote which I like a lot:
"Aw, I have three kids and no money. Why can't I have no kids and three money?"
