Although season 1 with Christopher Eccleston isn't as good as the others, at least in my opinion, so you have to stick with it. (I assume that it's the general consensus that S1 isnt as good, other people can correct me if I'm wrong)

    I think I would have to agree, as much as I like Matt Smith (which is a LOT, don't get me wrong), I still think Tennant was the best. That being said, I like the stories and arcs of the Moffat era better than RTD's for the most part.

    yeah, I liked it a lot. I also thought Dwight Henry (he plays the dad) was really good, and he had never acted before, he owns a bakery.
