I hope that nice Sally Field wins.

Covered above. Sims is reviewing the rest of the season.
First or second degree rug burn.
The season 1 finale is on right now. It reminds me that Philip/Clark do like to go downtown.
So hot Philip couldn't resist going down on her right after another man had been inside her. What a trooper.
No need to call names. Let's keep it civil.
I give it an A, a 6, and a 9.
Reading is fundamental. Mixing together two or more previously existing completed works together doesn't automatically mean your talent is comparable to theirs.
Having a preference for originality over novelty is a weird attitude to have?
Yes, chords can only be arranged in so many different ways until one piece of music starts to sound like another. Listening to music will influence how you write your own songs. You could argue forever that nothing is original. I just respect musicians who created something on their own more than someone else taking…
What I've heard of The Books is fine. I wouldn't call myself a fan. You can site a million examples of one piece being influenced or sampled from another and that's fine. There's a lot of merit to a lot of it. I still prefer originality most of the time.
But mashups literally come from somewhere else. As opposed to musicians getting together and creating something out of nothing.
Close-minded is you can't enjoy this song unless there's a 4/4 dance beat and another song tacked onto it. Mashing 2 or more songs together isn't the same as creating something original. It's novel, it's fine, it's probably pretty catchy. But I don't call it art.
Or I could listen to NIN or TMBG individually. I respect the talent, time and work these artists put into the music they create too much to bother with mashed up versions of their songs.
Actual talent is a plus.
I fucking loathe all mashups. Mixing together two or more previously existing songs together does not mean you have talent.
I'm assuming April's 14 or whatever so no.
I really like the (slightly drunk) sincerity in his "confession."
The vinyl is. It went quick.
I have a soft spot for You've Got Mail myself, but it can't be your favorite movie now and I doubt it was your favorite movie at 12.
