Hey, slow down on the 's' key there, sport. But yeah, bold and all caps is about right.

I kept expecting that someone would make a mashup of Modest Mouse's "Float On" with the Floaters' "Float On" but to my knowledge it never happened.

Speaking of shit that makes me feel old… No mention of D'Angelo's new album?

I'm not much of a completist. I didn't even finish this article.

As in all things, Kenny Powers provides excellent guidance here. The proper phrasing is "sex on the reg."

I hadn't heard that, but I'm of the (apparently minority) opinion that SJ is terribly miscast as Black Widow, so I approve. I did hear that Emily Blunt was the first choice, which would've been much better.

or that my JT voodoo doll will eventually work.

I genuinely love the Resident Evil franchise, much to my surprise. I've never played the game, so I don't have that excuse.

"Pretty good" doesn't cover it. Allen's standup stuff is truly great. I had "Standup Comic" when I was a kid and, while the virtues of Allen's standup are different, I'd put it up against practically any other standup.

I heard he even pushed a piano out a window onto one of them.

I really miss the days when Cee Lo wasn't famous. I lived in Atlanta in the 90s when the Goodie Mob were coming up and not only were they great, his first album (..and his Perfect Imperfections) was fantastic. After Gnarls Barkley hit, I was happy he was getting some attention. Now, every time he gets public

They should just call it "The Fantastics" and buoy the opening week numbers with pro-wrestling fans and confused tourists making their first visit to NYC.

I watched some of the Ambushers recently on a local TV station (the things I do now that I don't have cable anymore.) Not only was it atrocious, the casual sexism and racism is pretty shocking. Then, I thought about the rest of 60s film comedy and got depressed.

Let's not forget Derek Flint. The air was thick with Bond parodies in the 60s and early 70s.

I doubt this. Bond survived the Matt Helm movies (somehow), even regenerating into the Roger Moore era.

Cut cable recently and found that in what remains of my listings. A pleasant surprise, especially since my wife has never seen it before.

Having watched it, I think that's exactly what happened.

Donovan Carless (of "& the Posse") also does a nice cover of this song. I presume he doesn't have a great big Cadillac either.

Pretty sure that quantity equals quantity precisely.
