I like Dan Fienberg's observation that FOX is boasting that it's in the Top 10 for new comedies this fall. There are 13 new comedies, two of which have been cancelled.

After seeing him in The World's End I realized how many small roles I'd seen him in before without remembering him.

I put the chances of this review and/or the comments being mentioned in a question next week at about 60%.

I wonder what they'll do for a setting next season. Maybe they'll go back to Brazil, but I'd prefer somewhere new.

Like this!

I could do with less Ray Wise, to be honest. I liked him, but the joke got a bit repetitive by the end.

"No. 1 in its time slot in key young men demos" sounds much more impressive before you realize its "time slot" was after midnight on a Thursday, so there probably wasn't that much competition.

Ooh, there are quote tags now? How does that work?

He didn't say "first time", he said "first time in a while."

I was unclear on that. He seemed to be making decisions like who to sell the inn to that I assumed would be the family's to make. Also, he was a pallbearer at her funeral.

I was mostly annoyed by the funeral stuff. The bit with Miss Patty was nice, and there's a few good Kirk moments, but Lorelai and Sookie came across as complete jerks, and the comedy felt forced.

I don't think I've watched any Logan episodes since I started watching The Good Wife. I don't think I hated Logan at the time, but I like Czuchry on TGW.

Smatthew is the one I always think of too, along with the Homr episode of The Simpsons.

No, I think Sonia just read the wrong description. Today's the big Jess/Dean fight.

I guess Hulu isn't showing it day-and-date this year? Shame, I liked Rowan's reviews.

I don't think it's "following" so much as that there's a load of character and plot stuff that gets cut out.

I think 3 is weak compared to the book (which I love), but it's far better than the first 2 movies.

I watched the first episode of Chris Hardwick's @midnight, and didn't hate it. I was surprised that it's basically a UK-style panel show, which you don't really get in the US very often.

Well, sort of. The actual post-Superbowl slot is going to New Girl. B99 is airing after that.

It's been picked up for a full season; I think we can save the campaigning for a few months.
