Sure, but Kingdom Hospital had the Stephen King factor, and Marenghi was clearly supposed to be closer to King than to Von Trier.

Garth Marenghi's Dark Place was a perfect spoof of Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital.

I've been looking forward to this.

Yeah, they killed Mark and Lexie off in the plane crash (and there's a possible death this year).

Eh, probably not worth paying just for that, unless you can get them cheap. I had the DVDs years before Netflix was an option.

JD definitely seemed more insufferable than usual in these episodes. I remember his ass-y behaviour from closer to the end of the season, but I was really hoping someone would hit him throughout these episodes.

That Denholm death GIF may be my new favourite thing.

Nah, CBS likes some acclaim too. It's why The Good Wife is allowed to stick around, despite relatively weak ratings.

Most of the book is great, but the ending is awful. The showrunners have said they're changing it, thankfully.

The only problem I had with the gunman episode is that none of the main characters died. I assume Katherine Heigl would have been killed if she had returned to work after her hiatus.

It's only eight episodes, but yeah. It's not "officially" a L&O, but it's written by Balcer and it mostly follows the Criminal Intent formula.

"Seriously though, why is everyone speaking English, even when the French police officers are in France?"

I'd never heard Yeardley Smith's voice before listening to these last few commentaries, and it freaks me out how she sounds just like a slightly lispier Lisa.

I remember a lot of that back when she turned up on Lost.

I hope this does well enough that Netflix films his current Ayn Rand tour.

As soon as he said his name, I went "Hey, so that's what Joel Ronson looks like."

I don't hate it, but it doesn't really feel like something those characters would be doing.

Yeah, I had no idea that was popularized here.
