It's Friday May 13, 2016.

If i live a 1000 years I will never understand the mindset of paying to see a band and then yelling at your friend about your weekend the entire time you are there. Just go to a bar or something.

Ok, but I better not catching you necking in the back on my El Camino again.

Person who makes me feel old and uncool, whatever the stuff they are into probably sucks anyway.

Guys! Guys! Enough! I'll buy you the damn Governor's Ball tickets!

Yeah, but she was talking like American Idiot made them famous when they had already been megafamous for many years.

Welcome to paradise.

That confused me in this interview. They were one of the biggest bands on the planet for a solid decade before American Idiot came out. Who is thinking they were unknown?

Of course not, Grandpa!

Now we're talking AV Club. One of the greatest metal/hardcore albums of all time. The title track is perfection.

One step away from saying you don't listen to someone because they sound too black.

Interesting that American Nightmare is on it two years in a row when they haven't released new music in a decade. Maybe they'll play longer this time.

WTF? Really? I guess I shouldn't be surprised but, come on.

I had a (very low paying) job with a lot of down time and my coworkers would insist on watching this, American Justice, and Cold Case Files back to back to back every day. This went on for years, I think I am still scarred from it. So much murder. . .

I've never seen any of these. I win!

Agree 100% on God Forbid.

In 2004 I had a college radio show where I played metal. I just hung out in the studio for 3 hours and played whatever I wanted, I'm still nostalgic for that. This got a lot of airplay. I had it pre-ordered along with Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake" which came out the same day, a great day to love metal. That said

I'm late to the party on this article but was looking to a place to point out that it doesn't even mention that one of the other biggest metal albums of that decade "Ashes of the Wake" was released on the exact same day as this.

Did the person who was commenting in all the album reviews about how they had never heard the bands see this? I think they'd really enjoy this post.

Let's steal the key to your mother's liquor cabinet!
