Hmm, I didn't look up the actual years; I just assumed it hadn't happened yet because Spock seems younger/earlier in his career than he did in The Cage. I suppose it's possible they did go to Talos, but I think there were some other big timeline differences.

I was sorta hoping Hannah would end up poisoning everyone at the party as a sort of scorched earth against the Miami PD. I would have cheered.

I do give the show a teensy amount of credit for not having LaGuerta go for a gun or something, otherwise Deb could excuse shooting her as reflex or instinct. But just a teensy amount.
