this is a good show…
but, you're right, it definitely needs to lose the freak-of-the-week angle eventually and start developing more engrossing long-term stories. They could have a very, very entertaining 3 or 4 season run if they play their arcs right.
He was on the current season of Scrubs for, like, three episodes. He stole the show there as well.
For a bunch of hippies…
Most of those Dharma guys are assholes. Chang, Horace, Roger, Radzinski….
Good call, dude.
About asshole…
They didn't bleep the first time a character said "asshole", but they bleeped it every other time. I guess they only get one asshole per episode on network TV.
I'll believe it…
.. when I can dip my balls in it.
My prediction:
Coach will be back at Dillon by episode 6 of season 4.
Damages
Damages is fucking great. Yes. Fucking. Great.
There is something else that bothers me about that scene… Ben usually doesn't think twice about killing anybody. He shot Cesar point blank and shot Desmond as soon as he turned around, but when he got to Penny, it seemed like he was hesitant, even before little Charlie entered the scene. That's not the Ben we know….…
The man got resurrected from the grave, and you're worried about how he knows about the Temple?
He did disappear at the Temple when Ben was getting judged. It's been mentioned before that Locke (and all the "Dead" people seen on the island) could be manifestations of the Smoke Monster. Could be possible.
This Gentleman and I are going to take a boat.
Michael Emerson was off-the-wall brilliant tonight. I was a little disappointed with the whole Penny/Desmond confrontation (probably because I've played it up in my mind so much), but other than that, this episode was aces.
Yeah, that shit was pretty bad-ass.
Correction: Season three.
Ben probably had a hard-core crush on Juliet back in season two because she reminds him of the woman that saved his life when he had that mysterious ailment as a kid. You know, the one he can't quite remember, but ever since he's been kind of a prick. That one.
… it reminded me of the Bail Organa line at the end of Episode III …
I like the new Jack better.
I thought it was bad ass that he didn't want to save Little Ben. He's right, if every thing that happened, happened, why should he step in to save the day? It was a nice touch that by not saving Ben, Jack serves as a major influence on who Ben becomes. Good Stuff. Richard saying that…
The Murtaugh List
I still do all of it, save three, but I'm only 27, so I guess Im cool. Also, I really dug the faux-Rudy music during the basketball scene. Nice touch.
Not as good as last weeks…
but not bad either. Two decent weeks in a row, definitely a good sign. The Sylar/Danko story was great, and I kind of enjoyed the Peter and Angela stuff.
