It helps that a lot of the songs on Accelerate are relatively short, fast, and rock.

HEY-O!

One of the L7 ladies (don't remember which one) said, "did you guys like the Bloodhound Gang? They're gonna eat us out later."

I saw L7 at Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest last year, they kicked ass.

Let's Be Friends, for one

That was what made me a Springsteen fan. The opening trio of songs - My Love Will Not Let You Down, Prove It All Night, Two Hearts - had me going, "this is really good."

Magic.

Yeah, it's a fun song. I liked during The Rising tour how he'd introduce the E Street Band in the middle of that song.

I recorded that episode when it first aired, and was just thinking about that sketch today.

I've used them too, to get songs that aren't available for sale (from either emusic or Amazon) in mp3 format. For example: 'Lights Out', by Peter Wolf.

I remember eating Nerds cereal. Those would get soggy really fast.

I first saw Okkervil River in (I think) 2008, they were opening for The New Pornographers. I had never heard of them, but Will had on this brown suit, and I kept thinking, "this dude looks like Napoleon Dynamite."

I had Shake Shack for the first time last week. The burger was excellent, but the combo (fries and a small soda) was over $10. I had In-N-Out that same week, and it was cheaper, plus more food, and an arguably better burger. For value, In-N-Out wins. (I always get the Double-double w/cheese and onions)

Yeah, I'm in Missouri, and I think the only time they had played here was a show at the Fox Theater in '92 after Ten had come out. They finally came back in '98 (to STL and KC). I've seen PJ a number of times over the years (less than Josh), but that '98 show (first time seeing them) with high school friends on the
