I really liked Let Your Dim Light Shine when it first came out, I remember thinking that Dave Pirner was a great songwriter. I still think 'Just Like Anyone' is a great song. I never got around to seeking out all their other releases, though I knew that they had come from punkier roots. I'll have to check some songs

I've seen R.E.M. and Pearl Jam 8 times each, but that's over a 10+ year period. I've seen Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 7 times.

I remember feeling sad as I kid when I heard that he had died.

I won't drink PBR unless it's free. Miller High Life is my cheap beer go-to.

The funeral home scene is the best.

I remember that too. And then Scrooge is let down when it's performed because McDuck is such a deplorable character.

I got Hulu for Christmas last year and I love it so far, mostly because it's got most of the Adult Swim shows from Cartoon Network, Criterion Collection titles (as SalonKitty mentioned), Regular Show, Fargo, and a lot of the latest network TV episodes (The Blacklist, The Catch, etc).

I think the only original members participating are Axl, Slash, and Duff.

Great song. I was slow to warm up to Challengers at first, now I think it's solid, there's not a track I skip on it.

This movie introduced me to Eliza Dushku. I was like, "whoa, who is she? She's beautiful."

I love this movie.

I'd put 'The Wake-Up Bomb' in my personal top 10 (hell, maybe even top 5) favorite R.E.M. songs.

I also love how Geto Boys sampled it on the X-rated track, 'Gangsta of Love'.

I like 'Coffee Shop' and 'Pea'.

She was also good in 50/50, and she made a strong impression in her small role in Cake (that Jennifer Aniston film).

There was one I saw where it was Emily Blunt talking about going scuba diving, and Russell Brand was jokingly saying, "I saw a fish once."

I was at my parents' house last weekend, and they loaned me The Geography of Bliss: One Grump's Search for the Happiest Places in the World. My Dad said he loved it, but my Mom did not. I'm only 40 pages in, and it's kind of interesting, although the writer tries to be funny and I haven't laughed yet (his last name is

'Easy Lover' is one of my favorite songs ever, in that I never get tired of hearing it. Even as a kid, whenever it came on the radio, I'd get happy.
