Two things: I believe that Hank got fall-down drunk becuase he was going for a soda and accidently ended up in the Tequila Shooter Line and had booze literally poured down his throat.
Also, when he and Peggy celebrate their anniversary they both get wasted on tequilla.
And, in a flashback, he is fall-down drunk when he

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the Interwebs been talking that this is the last season of KOH?
Might explain the writers "pulling out all the stops."

The Rainbow Blazer
Since nobody else seems interested in KOH, I will bring up the fact that this episode had a small inversion on the typical Hank saves _____ from ____. While initially seeming to be a typical show, Hank actually is the one who needs saving (due to Long Island Ice Teas, no less; I can't imagine a

"This show hasn't been good in 10 years… but it looks amazing."

Disregard previous comment; I can't really read too well, it turns out.

Real Girl, though excellent, isn't really about "falling in love" it's more about "falling into life" or "falling out of seclusion". Granted, Lars ends up talking to what's her name, but that idea is secondary to the movie, in my opinion.

Too Lazy to Scroll…
So these might already be brought up but:
The Professional
and
Blade Runner.
Granted, neither are "about" falling in love but the Love-Type-Emotion factors pretty heavy in each and is believable.
Also Punch Drunk Love is a perfect movie.

Speaking of X-men-isms, I am super hopeful that Claire, realizing that she needs weapons close at hand, shoves six steak knives through the palm of her hand, so that they stick out in front of her fists. Then she takes to smoking cigars and calling people "bub".
Let's face it, she already talks lower than Wolverine

Joke too far
Marshall as a dancer? One too many "vagina" jokes? While it is kind of funny that the big midwesterner dances "like a ballerina" but I have come to expect more from this show than your usual, "all dancers are girls" joke (the stirrups were too far apart at his last gyno? Seriously?).
And, more to the

I doon't know but I think it sounds a lot like "fail", eh?

General Spleen Vent
Maybe a sacred cow, maybe not, but I just happened to see the preorder Watchmen CD at iTunes. Most of the tracks looked totally bad-ass and will no doubt help to create the quasi-past/present time frame the movie (or at least the graphic novel) takes place in. With one exception: My Chemical

Bill Hicks. That is all.

I was told once by a very wise something or other that much of anime's "typical features" originated from the fact that Japanese culture is very strict on lots of things but, somehow, anime got a pass. Therefore you had lots of repressed individuals allowed to go nuts with pictures. While scenes like Wicked City

Very interesting subject; I have long noticed the decline (who hasn't) in the Simpsons but have never actually tried pinpointing where things went wrong. Without consulting my encyclopedia, I aggree that the Behind The Laughter episode may very well be the turning point. Something about becoming so incredibly

Re-tracking a misplaced thread, vis: No Country for Old Men: when I read the novel and Lewellyn's body is found, I spent at least twenty pages believing that he had somehow set the whole thing up and was going to drop from the ceiling and take out Chigurh.
Also, as the Sherriff introduces and ends the novel/movie, I

"If you get tired, pull over, if you get hungry, eat something."
Best advice ever.
I can see why folks may not like Guest's films, as they are all obviously variations on the same thing. This is Spinal Tap deserves some lasting praise, as it was one of the first (if not the first) "mocumentaries" to really explode. By

Replying to replies to my comment: Hound-dog howl = crow caw over power plant. Simple way to make establishing shot audible as well as visual.
I was merely surprised that a show that has pretty much stopped being "new" to me managed to work in a small giggle that I truly didn't see coming and had to actually think

The Simpsons
I loved the random (and quiet) hound-dog howl in the background of the Quickie Mart establishing shot. More gags like that, please.
