I agree with Buddy. He'd definitely make my top 10 favorite characters of the show. He made some of the worst decisions and was so flawed but I absolutely loved that about him. I don't know how to qualify this exactly, but he was the most real character on that show in my opinion.

Definitely. I loved Meredith's suggestion of him becoming a society walker. It'd be so perfect for him.

I grew up watching him in Ace Ventura too but I mainly remember him from Dumb and Dumber. He's just got the physicality down. Maybe he's an acquired taste, but I just find him so infectiously energetic, natural and flat-out enjoyable. Though, I'll admit, I haven't seen any of his recent movies.

Didn't Bonnie react similarly to Elena about something that happened in season one as she did tonight? I don't remember exactly, but she froze out Elena just for being attached to a bad thing that happened to her. It's like her default method of dealing with tough situations.

I just had to respond cause immediately after watching this VD episode, I had a mini marathon of The Wire season 3. I'm late to the show but am loving it so far (minus Ziggy). Sorry, I don't have much to add but I really like your comparison between Elijah and Omar. The thought to compare the two didn't even cross my

I definitely laughed when I saw Klaus sadly moping, tearing out Caroline drawings and casting them into the fire. Their weird relationship is fun, but man. Horses and drawings and following her like a puppy dog is a bit much. It's a good thing I love both these characters so much.

I think Elijah said Bonnie and her mom would know something was up if he or any of the other originals approached them so it was up to the Salvatores, who they expect nothing but good news from apparently. Sort of a reach as Elijah could probably have approached them, killed one, and run a hand through his hair before

I kinda loved how short it was. Just a blimp on this guy's weird radar. I also wouldn't mind buying myself his "Music Band" t-shirt. I couldn't wear it nearly as well as Buscemi did though.

Everyone looked gorgeous (if a little over the top) but I've gotta choose Elena's. The coloring and movement was beautiful.

Is it just me or is this show really good at moving Elena around successfully? In the course of less than one season, I've gone from being an Elena/Damon shipper to Elena/Stefan to Elena/Matt and, tonight, once again, Elena/Elijah. Who knows, maybe I'm just giving Nina Dobrev too much credit.

Same here. I think Elena realized who she was standing next to and that telling Esther she'd rather opt out of this diabolical scheme and rejoin the party wasn't ever an option. Could Elena not have just ever so slightly shook her head when Elijah was about to take a drink though? That scene was sort of heartbreaking.

That's what I'm hoping! I wish I didn't like Mama Mikaelson so much. There was so much potential in her becoming some sort of mother figure for Elena…until she took Elena's blood and informed her she was killing her children. But, for that first minute of them meeting, there was potential.

I really was hoping he didn't drink, but I just read a quote from Julie Plec on TVGuide.com."Everyone drank [the champagne with Elena's blood]. I can put that to bed now."

Yeah, that bluebirds line was almost exactly how Paris described Rory if i remember correctly. I love both shows, but man, that was pretty blatant.

That's what I was wondering!

Yeah. I love Vampire Diaries as much as the next guy who's wise enough to overlook everything it has going against it (its network, title, teens) but no way is it the best thing on Thursdays. It might be my favorite, most satisfying and thrill ride-y show of the week but I wouldn't call it the best. Not with Parks,

I got a kick out of Criss' "Then i'll have to go back to sleeping on the floor of my uncle's mattress store!"

Sorry this doesn't have anything to do with this review, but I needed a place to ask this.
I just started watching Doctor Who with Matt Smith and became obsessed fairly quickly. My only question is: are all of the doctors as good as he is?
I watched the first episode with Christopher Eccleston and liked him okay but his

Don't skip it. There are some shitty plotlines in season two, but they're handled well. And there are some really great character moments. It's only bad in context of how amazing the other seasons are. Still very much worth watching though.
