Oh, leave Bob alone. He's always been a forward looking guy. It'll never be 1982 at First Avenue again.

Shrek
Would have loved to see what Chris Farley would have done with Shrek. Do you think if he hadn't died, he'd have been destined for a forgettable Rob Schneider-esque career, or could he have been something more?

Bob and Tommy
I wonder if Bob Stinson could have gotten his act together. Would he and Tommy have put together something post 'Mats, avoiding Tommy's involvement in that shitfest known as G 'N R? Tommy wouldn't have as much money, sure, but he'd have his brother.

I hate Jon Bon Jovi more than Michael Scott hates Toby Flenderson.

That is cold, dude.

Billy will also serve corn.

Mama's Family
For some reason, I vividly recall an episode of "Mama's Family" where they all go on Family Feud. They lost because when asked "Name something you have to wind" Mama said "a letter", referring to a relative's often closing her letters by writing"I have to wind down this letter…"

I think "Hey Ya" was the first song I ever bought on iTunes.

Dawson's Creek
Should have ended with Joey and Dawson sleeping together for the first (and only) time. Should have left us guessing.
Better yet, end with that, combined with Pacey being killed by a rampaging tiger that escaped from the zoo. Fuck Pacey!

Friends
Should have ended with Monica and Chandler's wedding. Rachel's stupid out-of-th-blue pregnancy pissed me off so much that I stopped watching the show then and there.

I still don't know who the fuck these guys
are.

Oddibe McDowell FTW.

Oh.
I think I speak for everyone when I ask, "Just who is, or was, LCD Soundsystem?"

Mr_god_2_u
Bro, you totally called it. Hat is off.

Just a Kid
Sure, the song is no "Blowin' In The Wind." But why focus so much on the 13 year old CHILD and not Ark Music Factory? Folks here are making comments about her LOOKS, for Christ's sake. What is this, Mean Girls? Way out of line. Pick on the purveyors of this stuff all you want. Leave the kid alone.

"White Lines" is the first real hip hop song I think I was ever conscious of. I remember Blondie's "Rapture", of course, but that was just a pop song with a rap on it. Still an awesome song.

Cabover Pete with a Reefer On
Convoy was the first song I remember ever loving. I remember getting excited whenever it would come on the radio. I still think my true calling was to be a truck driver— not what I actually am, which is a librarian.

Thanks.
Considering all the concerts I passed on with regret, I am at least happy I got to see Genesis on (what is most likely) their final tour in '07. Phil's voice and drumming were as sharp as ever, and he was every bit as charming onstage as you would expect. Phil, I'll miss you. Thanks for the music.

Say, speaking of which— considering unrealized projects— I remember hearing about Lucas developing some sort of live-action Star Wars based TV series a couple of years ago. Whatever happened with that?

Cabinessence
Of course, the gold standard for all famous unrealized music projects is the Beach Boys Smile. Though I enjoyed Brian Wilson's attempt to recreate it back in 2004, I still would give a left nut to hear what was on those original tapes. Al Jardine was recently quoted as saying that there might be some
