The sad part about this joke (besides the Simpsons actually doing something similar in the past in comic book form): Family Guy has done a few storylines well before the Simpsons, and they didn't have to gloat about it.

Of course, in terms of Family Guy, they've already beat Simpsons to a premise way back in the "before cancellation" days of the show (i.e. the premise of the father having to take over the role of Death after he gets hurt trying to "reap" one of the show's main characters).

In terms of Halloween episodes, this is definitely one of those episodes that would be in the middle of the list, but more in the "good" category than "bad". While the episode is definitely not a classic like the earlier episodes, it's WAY better than last year's "phoned-in" effort, with each segment having at least

Usually, I can tell whether a half-season is going to be good or not by the quality of the premiere. In the case of this half-season, there's definitely going to be some concern that it's is going to be a stinker, as the negative qualities that usually pop up as the season progresses (adults being idiots, "one-note

No love for the following episodes:

Very much agree with the "sincere" factor, especially at a time where some of the more popular shows for adults (i.e. Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy) lack the charm that they have years back and are pretty much relying on their negative factors for a lot of their more recent episodes.

My Top 10 List (in order of air date and not including two-parters):

As someone who turned off the episode after the first act (only to turn it on again upon hearing about the live-action part and turning it off after a minute), I pretty much agreed with the reviewer in a lot of ways.

Definitely agree that this episode is not as great as everyone claims it is.

With all the comments I've been reading here about the episode, it's a good thing that I skipped it (as I knew that this was going to be a sucky episode back when I found out the plot line of the episode). However, I definitely felt that the smarter move would have been to announce in October that this would be the

Very Much Agree with the Idea of the Threat
Given what happens in the episode, I know that a lot of anime fans assume that everyone on the Bebop (instead of Ed) "died" from the "fridge monster", with no explanation as to why they're alive come the start of the next episode. However, I've pretty much felt that the

The mention of Bob's Burgers caused me to realize that it failed to get nominated as well (I take it that the episode that was submitted was not the "Art Space" episode).

Yeah, it sucks that the Academy pretty much ignores some of the better Adult Swim shows like The Venture Brothers and The Boondocks (two shows that were definitely robbed of a nomination last year). However, looking at the nominees, it's way better than last year's nominees, as the episodes (of those nominees that I
