The only way I think "you're watching it wrong" is applicable is for those of us who have a hard time devoting attention to things that don't grab us. I just physically cannot check into a movie (at home generally, but even in a theater) where I don't feel involvement: even if I have the best intentions I just cannot

I don't think the question in this is so much comparing high and low ends of the spectrum like Breaking Bad and Honey Boo Boo than it is comparing two things that both have something to think about but one is posed as art while the other is posed as pulp. I see a more fit analogy as comparing Breaking Bad to Sons of

My two big ones are Harsh Times, a movie most people forgot about as just an attempt by the writer of Training Day to recapture that glory but what I saw as Christian Bale's most feral, live-wire performance mixed with a great atmosphere and exploring a dynamic between two friends that rarely gets looked into, while

Really, the fundamental idea makes sense: there's a big cottage industry of lazily produced rips of kids shows performed live where kids can get up and scream and sing. Translating that to a movie theater and getting it in front of more audiences could be a huge success. They just need it to not be a new commodity

It brings me no joy to say that. I've enjoyed this season on a macro level because it's well written and still the kind of sad sack shit I like, but he did all that last season and made me cackle with laughter throughout, whereas this season I've never gotten past an amused chuckle.

They gotta be able to do better than Anne Hathaway as far as that "holy shit, she's the mother!" effect. I've heard lots of rumors of it being Sarah Michelle Gellar to try and hammer in the Buffy connection, but that would probably disappoint some people. The only way I could see that really blowing peoples' minds is

So will this also have a good first season, an amazing second season, and a third season completely devoid of comedy?

You go to hell and you die!

You go to hell and you die!

This is interesting from a sociology standpoint: you got twice as many likes as I did for laying out the setup for the joke whereas I just plugged in the punchline. It is the journey, and not the destination that matters in Simpson quotes.
