Indeed, at 5'9" and age 26, I'd never felt so short and old in my life.
Yeah, last show of theirs I went to was full of frattish types who went NUTS for Brothersport and My Girls. I'm not sure how the word on these guys got spread their way but good for them.
I disagree!
Army of Darkness had to be cut down considerably to get an R rating.
Thanks for the heads-up, Kyle.
Song's pretty ridiculous but fun nonetheless.
No kidding, Josh. I agree with you about the Decemberists record but you couldn't be more wrong about this. Lazy Line Painter Jane wouldn't be half the song it is without that Cyndi Lauper clone pushing it to the next level.
I just bought Nick Lowe's Jesus of Cool yesterday and it's solid fucking gold.
Was on the watchlist the other night. Nick Meyer swears on the commentary that it's his real chest.
A few more worth hearing, prehaps??
Shearwater: Rooks
The Dodos: Visiter
Calexico: Carried To Dust
Dude, now I need to know. What's your Top 10?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BUY AN O?
"A Nickel?!"
Did they? Never mind then. The Lazarus And Grinderman reviews were harsh, but if they were just disappointed waiting for another Abattoir/Orpheus, then I don't really blame them.
Yeah, Coke Machine Glow seems to wait until an album is a month old and then state the opposite if there's a consensus. And they hate Nick Cave.
I think you'll be pleased. It's his best solo yet.
Get off his dick, bitch.
I didn't know she was still alive. I'm disappointed to read that she is and devolved into this. Slutty, dumb, and young is one thing but the monster in the second picture is something else entirely.
He could sing anything and make it sound cool. I was playing Field Songs in my car on the way to work this morning. Fantastic.
All turds are subjective. 1990 and 1995 were weak years in hindsight. I also imposed a pointless restriction of limiting myself to using an artist only once.
