I like Bruce Bowens podcast on espn, he doesn't have the most advanced stats and he (expectedly) emphasizes defense, but I think he does give a pretty good player perspective on a lot of issues.

Double post

I enjoyed Harris and Adam Scott's characters on F&P 1&2 more than in 3. I think they could have brought in Scott and Chelsea into it more somehow.  Also I would have liked more Foam corner.

I think the name test sounds really promising.  Have been really strong callers the last couple weeks, or maybe people are just making sure to bring something to table.

Velma is the obvious winner? whaaa? Based on what criteria

I've been really impressed with Lauren Lapkus' performances this year on both CBB and I4humans. She's consistently one of my favorite charcter/performers, is it just me or has she really stepped it up?

I like both the Nancy cooper character and Kristen Schaal, who i think plays a pretty exaggerated version of herself, but I thought Scott could only interact w/ one of them at a time, b/c they were so extreme they weren't building on each other.
I also wasn't sure if Kristen Schaal's stand-up special being cancelled

I've gone back and read portions of the books in the past, but usually i skip around quite a bit and avoid storylines/characters that i find boring.

also i thought YMIW with birbiglia was ultra boring, especially if you've heard any other birbiglia appearances on the pcast circuit

Does anyone else have lots of free time and want to go back and listen to old CBB eps and talk about them here?  I started listening religiously a couple eps before farts and procreation 1, and wnat to go back

agree on having an impressive run- I especially like the man on the street episode they had a few weeks back.

yeah i think it depends on the guest, occasionally they do get into some really funny bits, and the lightness of the podcast has legitimately made my day better in the past, but after 100ish episodes Pete's 'philosophizing' can get pretty repetitive.

I agree, and we've all seen enough poker on TV by now to know that poker tournaments dont end with 3-4 people going all in with monster hands….EVER.  Its always hours of boring grinding play.
