#E. Buzz Miller, I like Rom purely because of one line,

@Kumagoro:disqus Yes, I mentioned somewhere else that I long to see an appearance by "The Cats of Ulthar" but they'd probably wreck it… I did like the touch of the little kid bones in the witch from Hansel and Gretel's house, though.

It's by Clark Ashton Smith, in the book of short stories A Rendezvous in Averoigne (and probably also at Project Gutenberg).  Unfortunately, the name of the story escapes me at the moment…

There's this old story about an ancient wizard who gets his familiar to summon up the shade of the girl who he loved in his youth.  The shade looks just like her, but all he can see is flaws.  He accuses the demon of doing a bad job, but the demon says, "I summoned her exactly as she was, but I couldn't summon up the

Regina's first attempt at the curse totally fizzled out, who's to say the second attempt worked out exactly as planned (yeah, ok, too much benefit of the doubt, I guess.)

Assumption: First person Regina murders is her Mom.

I totally figured out Chang's plan.  Hopefully this isn't spoilery in case they decide to do it in another episode but… The Prisoner of Zenda!

@Fake Chinese Robert Plant: And he was a Drow, remember when he was  a Drow?

What actually happened to Peter in Peter and the Wolf?

Maine lacks blind, cannibal witches who eat children!  Who would want to live someplace like that?

Fairytale world is actually a horrible place full of horrible things, where young ladies have to deal with the fact that they ate their boyfriends while transformed into a Wolf. And other people get tricked into turning innocent victims into puppets, and apparently prolonged contact of an innocent girl

There's also a version of the tale where she is tricked into cannibalism by the Wolf disguised as her grandmother….

In Hell, perhaps Zack would be impotent. It is Hell after all.

Cursed by his own hubris!

But couldn't they just hold the spoons further down on the handles?

I loved that show!

Yes, Fox News is the Mrs. Bates school of "She's a whore, Norman.  Kill her Norman," school of sexism.

I wouldn't contrast Carmela and Skyler, Carmela is more like Walt.  They're both trapped in miserable marriages where their partners crush their spirits.  The fact that they "love" their partners (note the scare quotes represent my feeling about that emotion, love, I fully believe they are in love) only exacerbates

I'm picturing Walt standing outside a pre-school in a witch's hat saying, "Try these cookies, kiddies.  They're 'berry good.'  Ehehehe… cough, cough…eheheheh"
