Is it wrong that I kinda want to see that happen now?

God these flashbacks were awful. Did we actually see Oliver get bitten by a shark?

To be fair, she was busy… picking up phones lol

I just don't want another arch of Laurel having to deal with the loss of a loved one. Three seasons = three times someone close to Laurel died. I'm over it. Plus, having Oliver react at the graveyard and not Laurel really is lame if Papa Lance is the one who dies.

But at no moment was it Samantha's decision to be part of Oliver's life/quest. She's blackmailing him into shutting his mouth and keeping William a secret precisely to protect her son. At no point is she letting Oliver off the hook with this. As for William, the show won't kill a kid, much less Oliver's kid, and have

I'd be really surprised if they did that, it sounds a little too dark for the show. I wouldn't mind but this season has been all about family and letting Oliver off the hook. I don't see Arrow dealing with this kind of consequences.

That Malcolm/Damien battle was the thing I never knew I needed and was so happy to get. It was like the show was wishing me a merry Christmas at every quip and every move.

There's no way it's Felicity in the grave. On the other hand, Quentin Lance looks REALLY happy doesn't he? His daughter's back, the other one looks like she's happy, he has a girlfriend and the respect of everyone. Isn't he close to retirement?

What an epic episode. Loved it (except the part where Oliver proposed while forgetting to warn Felicity that she's gonna be a step mother. I'm sure that won't blow up in his face).

And that's infuriating. Oliver had a right to figure it out and process the new info for sure. The whole thing felt really shoehorned, from the demand that Oliver doesn't tell anyone he knows that he's a father to Felicity's "you're a compulsive liar". But by the second timeline, when she asked sweetly to be told the

Felicity: "Urgh, we've gotta clean up now!"
Oliver: Slides facedown on the couch. "Okay, making room for ya so I don't bother you while you sweep the floor!"

Also, in the show they're like 5 years apart. Last year, Oliver was 30 and Felicity 25 so its way less than, say, most other famous couples (like Damon and Elena, whose actors also had a 10 years gap and who dated in real life for three years).

I had the exact same thought. What, so only the priestess looks like she might come from Egypt? WTF? Even Ramses the Wise (lol) didn't look the part at all. It's upsetting.

All of this. I wish I could like your analysis a thousand times. The contrivance of having Samantha react like such an asshole and demanding something from a guy she doesn't even know anymore makes me seething. And Oliver knows he made the wrong decisions in the first timeline, yet repeats the same action a second

After at least 206 times, I guess I'd give more or less the same half-assed explanation…

"No, not that kind of vibe!"

Considering what they've been doing with Jay, I'm not convinced he'll be staying… but I'll admit this might be strong wishful thinking. I hate the Caitlin/Jay relationship that I find shoehorned and unnecessary.

I'm legit questioning what these whole flashbacks are supposed to show. We're a far cry from the Hood guy who showed up and nothing is happening in the flashbacks. It's going too slow and doesn't echo enough with what we're shown in the present.

I'm doing the same thing. Not really working. I try looking at the scenery in the meantime. I spent the entire flashback looking at the dead lizards and wondering if they used frozen birds… yeah… that's where I'm at…

And by "compelling" you mean "dead", right?
