I can believe that you and I are the only ones with "Imitations" on our lists (it was #1 for me, by a mile, and "Black Pudding" was #3) but I'm completely shocked how few people writing for this site and commenting on it have "Push The Sky Away" on their lists. WTF, people! Is everyone forgetting it came out this

That Regine Spektor marble-mouths vowel-swallowing pixie voice disease is so much worse than the hair metal shit that grunge killed off. ::shudders::

I agree whole-heartedly on the Jared Warren as post-grunge success story. Big Biz is everything that's right about rock music. @avclub-f62296b9393b6ab9229ebde91ed8469f:disqus , you're in for a treat when you listen to Mind The Drift!

I am completely shocked by how little love "Gentlemen" got in this thread. SHOCKED!

Mike Patton "[Something off Adult Themes but I didn't catch the title because I was driving]"
Jamie Saft "Blood"
NIN "3 Ghosts I" (I don't know if that's actually the title; iTunes got all screwy when I uploaded Ghosts, so I sort of guess at the titles.)
Jamie Saft "Dirge"

The catchiest Mike Patton song ever is "Perfect Twist", but "Il Cielo" is a close second. (I happen to be listening to Mondo Cane as I type!)

Snake Oil sounds awesome! I'll have to check that out. My favorite board game is "Wise and Otherwise", which is like Balderdash but with proverbs. It's best when the judging is done by funniest entry, not the most likely to be correct.

Overall: Mike Patton & Secret Chiefs 3 "La Chanson de Jacky" and Afghan Whigs "Mr. Superlove"

The Devils actually won consecutive games in a row, but I missed it. Apparently there was some vintage Jagr on display, and Henrique scored a shorty, so that's cool.

Trevor Dunn's trio-convulsant "The Salamander"
Electric Masada "Kedem"

I gotta go Indonesian. It's where the best of Chinese food meets the best of Indian food.

I'd downvote that for the injustice of it (from a Billie Joe Green Day perspective; I have no opinion on Norah Jones) but I'm too chicken to have a downvote on my permanent record.

Anything Billie Joe and Norah can do, Will Oldham and Dawn McCarthy can do better.

My trainer had me try boxing last weekend! OK, not boxing really, just punching a punching bag, but it was still awesome! I was grinning like an idiot for the rest of my session (until I had to do fucking mountain fucking climbers). Also, I hit the milestone of 20 pounds lost since joining the gym back in July!

I think you can't go wrong. Unless you get one of each. That might be wrong.

We're "Social Network OST" buddies today! ::high five::

Japancakes "Tremor"
Trent Reznor & Attics Ross "A Familiar Taste"
Melvins Lite "Freak Puke"
Dalek "Back to Burn"
Ennio Morricone "Forza G"

The Devils have one win but it's a 4-0 shutout of the Rangers so I'm cool with that. Gotta have priorities.

One of my good friends is a Stars fan. From what she says, none of the media there takes a second to stop talking about the Cowboys no matter what season it is, but she's violently opposed to all things NFL so she might not be the most reliable narrator. I went to one game there early in the season a few years ago

I've always been jealous that my sister has premonitions. Yesterday morning, I saw a dead deer on the road (which where I live is literally an everyday occurrence) and thought, "It's odd that I never see dead deer in pieces. Given how fast cars go around here, you'd think you'd see more chunks of deer." So of course
