The other night I had a dream that was a 50-50 mash-up of Mass Effect and the original Beverly Hill 90210.

Good luck with the party!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything runs smoothly.

You've got my kind of shuffle going there, what with all that Lanegan!  Nice!  Meanwhile, I've had High on Fire on my list of things to check out for a while — is there any place to start with them that's better than others?

Sorry about your bruise.  I once got a bruise on my arm that was about four inches long and two inches high and perfectly in the shape of the Batman bat logo.  It was awesome!  I was almost sorry to it see it go.

The worst I ever saw was a woman with a ginormous (in that it covered her entire back from shoulder to shoulder and from nape of the neck to top of the butt) bulldog-faced gargoyle.

Congratulations!!!  I can't wait until I can jog for 20 minutes without stopping!  So far, the best I've done is about 3 minutes.  Which is 3 more than I could do a month ago, so I guess that's good, right?

Female, Central NJ.

There is nothing worse than being stuck without something to be working on!  I don't understand how people watch tv without sewing/knitting/crocheting, etc.  (Conversely, as a hand-quilter, I also don't understand how so many quilters out there use the sewing machine — you can't watch tv for hours on end while using a

Ooh, I'm jealous!  I decided to pass on Pelican this time around because the timing just wasn't right.  I'm planning on seeing Grails next month, though, so I'll at least get to see one awesome heavy instrumental show.

Good luck!

Congratulations and good luck with the new job!

You're not a superhero — you're a monster!  Halloween candy for a year?!  I weep for you and your cavity-free teeth.

Yay!  Your kid's going to have an awesome birthday!  I second the vote for Kirby's Epic Yarn.  It's good for kids to play, and the design is so clever you'll enjoy watching him play.  I'm a Mario fan, so I'd say both Mario Galaxies and Super Mario Bros Wii are essential.  I also adored "Zelda: Skyward Sword", but I

You can get through an entire week of junk food on only two bags of M&Ms?  Are you some kind of superhero?

ISFJ.  The best laugh I had all week was the question "you often contemplate the complexity of your life".  Complex is the last word I'd use to describe my existence.
