I guess the fact that I wrote for an AFL blog would mean that I like it too. I mean, what else are you going to watch in spring? Basketball?! But in all seriousness, if you go to a good game, it can be the most fun guys night out ever.

That was a long time ago, when the AFL had money. Now-a-days players make about $850-$900 a game, for an 18 game season, that's about $16000. Most players have second jobs, some are hoping for a bigger paycheck in the NFL where being on a practice squad is a 3x pay increase.

Wait, how have you lived in Utah and never seen this? Centerpoint, Hale, Sierra and Pioneer Theater do it AT LEAST biannually. Add high schools and *shudder* church productions. I'm pretty sure that it's never not playing somewhere in this state.

The SLC Comic Con was really something. I mean, there's no body who's been famous for the last 20 years, but it was awesome to see kids express their appreciation to the original Might Morphin' Power Rangers, or to hear a 18 year old tell Adam West that he was a "complete badass in everything you do"
