It's not the show that's really damaged, it's Community online fandom that's so ruined it needs a revamp/retcon/remake/nuking.

There's 13 episodes, so that's about 4.5 hours, so that won't take that much time. If you really are so busy that you don't have 4.5 hours to spare, you can for example cut down the time you spend on AVClub Community comments. You'll be better off.

I'd argue that as a first season finale that changed things for some characters it was an important episode, but then I'd be defending the order it was aired in, and I can't have that.
