yes, there is a clear arc between 2, 3, and 4, which is why "The Search for Spock" is interesting and a worthy story, and it's why "The Voyage Home" is so much fun.
Which episode in the third season of TNG is a good place to start?
I liked it a lot. I'm not a huge Star Trek fan, but I like the Original Series cast, and I like contemplative sci-fi. The film reminds me of slow burners like Solaris and 2001: A Space Odyssey, but with a charismatic core group of central characters.
If you find him funny, it works. If you aren't at least amused, it can be a chore.
I just came here to see if "Sherman's March" and "Lost in La Mancha" were on the list.
I love the Gin Blossom's approach to music on New Miserable Experience and Congratulations I'm Sorry. Their storytelling, guitar tone, rhythm section, dynamics, and vocal approach just do it for me. They always sounded honest and earnest. The only problem with "Hey Jealousy" was that it obscured some people's…

I watched Super 8 for the first time a couple months ago, and I loved it

The mood is Black Sabbath, but the vocals and percussion clearly have some detectable Led Zeppelin influence.
In 5th grade, my friend made me a mix-tape with a bunch of Nirvana unplugged, Spin Doctors, and Soundgarden cuts. The other two bands kept the mix tape going, but "Spoonman", "Head Down", "Black Hole Sun", and "Fell On Black Days" provided an endless fascination to me. I eventually bought the album. Even though it was…
In the round table discussion, I was very surprised not to see any mention of the drums (and added percussion), angular guitars, odd time signatures, and winding chord progressions. The only allusion is that the band was influenced by Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
yeah, same here - the ranking and the scene, although I first saw that scene in Twelve Monkeys
