The inevitable GDQ run of this is gonna be wild.
Does anyone else feel like the game is moving too fast? I’ve been playing since Friday afternoon (2-3 hours per day, not 10) and I’m about to have five villagers. I had a villager birthday today. Daily e-mails from the HHA. I got Gulliver on day 2.
Well, this seems kind of wild to me. I chose an island that is completely segmented by two rivers. without the pole, I currently have access to maybe 25% of the land mass.
Can anyone tell me if the pole for crossing rivers is tied to story progress? I have the museum building plans, but I don’t want to place it until I have access to the currently inaccessible 2/3's of my island.
I saw Bloodshot on Saturday. It was not very good. Seeing the trailer for New Mutants beforehand with the now-cancelled April date didn’t help.
I know they won’t, but it would be really really rad for Nintendo to drop Animal Crossing digitally today for all of us who are going to be stuck at home for the next week. The game’s done, it’s just files. Let us.
I’m sure there’s no way I have privileges to run an .exe on my machine, but I’ll certainly look into it.
I think it’s possible for your employer to have a double standard regarding breaks when working from home. I work two days in the office and three days at home every week.
It’s tough to say if the ease of jumping from game to game on Game Pass is making me more of a dabbler. Three of my favorite games that I played in the past year (Operencia, Yoku’s Island Express, and A Plague Tale) were on Game Pass and I finished them and a handful of others.
I started Ori and the Blind Forest via Game Pass on Saturday because I’m basically in a holding pattern until Animal Crossing comes out and I knew that if I didn’t find something to play I couldn’t be trusted to not go and buy Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

I finished A Plague Tale: Innocence on Tuesday. I liked it a lot, but the final boss made me wonder when the last time I enjoyed a final boss actually was. Is the successful closure ratio of games better or worse than TV series finales?
I just saw it a week ago 100% because of the expansion/re-release. I live in a city big enough for three AMCs, but small enough (?) that there were about 10 movies last year (Parasite included) I wanted to see which did not play here.
1. Proud to see my main man Goose represent in another Nintendo Direct. You made it, ya bish!
Finally got to see Parasite. It was one of six or seven films last year that I wanted to see but AMC didn’t deem worthy of screening, even though there are three AMC locations in my city.

Now’s my chance to plug Operencia: The Stolen Sun, easily one of my favorite games of 2019. It’s a first-person dungeon crawler in the Wizardry style. It based on central European mythology rather than traditional high fantasy. The art-style, voice acting, and characters are all very good. Only a small few of the…
