Lambo was cut out of the Star Wars Special Editions.

The new record from Purson is out today and it's really good.

But why is Penfold smiling?

I saw The Simpsons Movie on opening night at midnight (way back when opening night at midnight mean 12:01 Friday morning and not 11:15 Thursday night) and much like the story above about The Phantom Menace, no matter what anyone says about it now, in the theater that night it was the best thing ever.

I legitimately feel like the whole “having to plan out your attacks so as not to waste them” aspect still helps me approach things (in games and in life) to this day.

Even just the Inn in the starting town being 30G is ridiculous. I remember having to grind just to get gold to stay at the Inn to revive a dead party member. Praying to get a random encounter with two imps instead of six so the whole party wasn’t wiped.

Final Fantasy NES is one of my favorite games of all time. Somehow the first boss (as seen in the video) Garland was the first time in my young life that I had ever encountered that word. Everything from the name to the cave to the battle was some of the baddest shit I had ever seen at the time.

Those were Bugles.

I know it's just chemicals in my brain, but that original Doritos logo kicks me right in the nostalgia-center. And I didn't even like Doritos until the advent of Cool Ranch, which wikipedia tells me was 1987.

That opening riff to 'Everbody's Stalking' with the snare buzzing in the background. Goddamn.

That's made around the corner.

They played there one the last tour too I believe. I have a friend who is a huge fan that lives there. Maybe they just really like the city?

Since 'cinematic universes' are all the rage now, there should be a CB4 reunion at Good Burger.

Started and caught up on Paper Girls and the new Deadpool/Spider-Man series. I'm enjoying them both.

Thought they had their release schedule on lock. jaw dropping.

When I was a kid (10 in 1985 for reference) I was obsessed with getting my bedroom painted purple. My dad used to mock me by crooning "purple room/purple room" in a way that probably sounds cruel but was hilarious.

My favorite Prince album is NEWS. If you've never head 'East' check it out as soon as you can. I hope there tons like it in the vault and maybe gets released one day.

I’m sure I could find my original post on Kotaku’s game club from way back when, but instead I’ll just say it again, “Who the hell builds a hedge maze on the property of an asylum?”

Unrelated: did anyone ever get their settlement from the Vita class action?

Slow summer for me; Valkyria, Odin Sphere, Kirby.
