Ok everybody, what was your poorest DVD purchase decision? I remember paying $109.99 for the first season of The X-Files the day it was released. A whole season of a TV show was unheard of, and for 10 discs $110 seemed right at the time. By the time I got around to getting the final two seasons I believe they were

RE: Why I couldn't watch the Original Mad Max films on Netflix in advance of Fury Road.

Mentally scanning the page your brain assumes C is for CD at 10.99 and T is for Tape at 16.99. Makes you think your getting a better deal than you are.

People used to try this scam and then double it by retuning the unopened "free" CDs to Best Buy without a receipt. Not realizing of course that they had different UPCs than the retail versions. I can't count how many times I had to call someone out, "No this CD didn't come from here. It says BMG Direct on the back!"

It's a shame "We're the Same" doesn't immediately follow 'Sick of Myself." It's one of the greatest one-two punches in pop history.

Seriously, is it in his contract rider that it must be in the script?

I think this column could be redone just based on Christmas stuff. Anyone else's household have a soft spot for Jon Anderson's Three Ships on cassette?

When Axiom Verge came out I put about an hour into it, but was too focused on Bloodborne to play any more. This week I picked it back up and played it to the end. I enjoyed it very much. I had to consult the internet twice on where to go next after spending too much time lost. Unfortunately both times I had already

This make me delirious.

Viz just published a collection of the A Link to the Past comics from Nintendo Power. Maybe if it does well enough they'll continue with other properties.

I'm not sure if it was stellar design, or amazing coincidence, or possibly rigged, but I was floored when the first actual Metroid you encounter in Prime hit me at exactly 50% of all scans.

It is crazy to think about how having to move to the left of the starting screen was a mind-blowing concept at the time. But it was.

I’m so glad Vicarious Visions is developing this one. In my opinion Trap Team was disappointing (and ugly) compared to Swap Force.

Found it.
