If I hear one more classic rock song in an animated movie I'm going to punch the nearest person in the face. If that happens to be a child in the seat next to me at the theater, so be it.

After multiple attempts to enjoy and appreciate the cinematic genre known as Mumblecore, I've come to the conclusion it is not for me. The series Easy on Netflix was the tipping point.

I tried to watch her standup special on netflix and only made it about 10 minutes. I don't remember what I disliked about it tho

It's like Trump's kid Baron. If you were writing a script about an evil fascist billionaire hell bent on destroying the world and were like, "I'm going to name his kid Baron" everyone would be like, "that's a little hacky and on the nose, wouldn't you say?"

Eh, my wife is into some lame pop culture shit and it annoyed me at times but you gotta see the bigger picture. As you get older the "what you like" isn't nearly as important as "what you're like."

My favorite part in Tina Fey's Bossypants book is when she's describing a behind the scenes moment when Amy Poehler is doing some crass bit or something and Jimmy Fallon says "stop it. that's not cute" and Poehler says something like "Fuck off. I don't care what you think." He needs to hear more of that.

Everybody Poots, not just Imogen

And drown your voice in as much reverb as possible so that any characteristics or nuances are completely obliterated.

My 5 yr old daughter started watching it on Netflix and I had to put my foot down. There's also an Italian animated show called Winx where stick thin teenagers in stripper wear get their fairy super powers by applying makeup or maybe that's Glitter force. My point is there is a lot of shiny garbage out there meant to

WHY DID I NEVER DO THIS

There are ways to get around double jeopardy, apparently. When OJ got 33 years for threatening some memorabilia dealers in Vegas he was definitely tried for murder twice. In the Made in America doc one of his former friends smiled bemusedly and called it "white justice"

Your description is my understanding of the case as well. Even though I'm convinced of her innocence and the the documentary is not likely to try to persuade me otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing this. I thought the OJ Simpson: Made in America doc was thoroughly engaging and knew he was guilty af going into it.

Pretty sure original news reports were stating it was Future, not DJ the Prince Future and I understand why they'd be so easily confused. It's like all those rappers named A$AP something—I don't get it and I'm too old to get it.

Wow, playing the race card right out of the gate! Johnny Cochran is smiling from the grave.

First of all, I'd like to preface my (slight) criticism of this album with praise for Olson as an immense talent. Her voice is a gift—powerful and nuanced in equal measure. I've given this a few listens so far and lyrically I'm left unsatisfied. She relies too heavily on cliches; they're even right there in the song

Like the Heartbreakers without Tom Petty or to a lesser extent the Waves without Katrina (I couldn't think of a better one)

I know it well. Used to read that paper with one hand!

So I have to sign up for the newsletter to read this? No thanks.

NOT NOW, JACKIE
