"Holy filet of fuck!" Did I hear that correctly? If so, that may be Debra's best exclamatory curse yet.

I did not initially recognize that as a Ron Swanson quote, which makes me feel like a failure as a human being and an American. Have you seen the recurring segment on Conan where Nick Offerman reads the tweets of young, female celebrities? It's one of my favorites.

I concur in principle. But if that 600-pound garbage dump lives through that heart attack and happens to be on Medicaid, I'm paying for the dump's medical bills. That's not cool. As soon as someone else's indulgences cost me money, I don't think that someone else should be "free" to indulge.

There is something very special about hot Krispy Kremes. They are unbelievably light and fluffy and go down so smoothly with whole milk (none of that 2% or skim crap). I like to treat myself to a half-dozen every couple of months or so. I can never eat just one or two, so I have limit my Krispy Kreme exposure to just…

Funny story about McRib: I was hunting for some moonshine from Popcorn Sutton's still up in mountains of Cocke County, Tennessee. My friends and I heard it was served at some "bar" up there. The "bar" turned out to be a single-wide trailer in the back of a trailer park. It's only distinguishing feature identifying it…

Krispy Kreme donuts. Hot off the rack. A dozen of them in one sitting. I'm so sick of turkey already I think I'll head out and get a box.

At Long John Silver's I *always* order an extra side of "crunchies" for $1. So good but so wrong.

But without the electroshock therapy, Brody could never have "made" Carrie in the bar! (That also strained credibility; it seemed like the writers said, "hey, we can't make that all for nothing so let's circle back to it now even if it's at the most strange and implausible moment").

You make some very good points, JohnJohn. To me, this season's plot has been more transparent, and I have more or less been able to foresee a lot of the "twists." So, I tune in for the characters. I like how richly they are drawn and how we see them battle through their internal struggles. You don't see that much on…
