I wouldn't say the movie doesn't make sense; it's still this crazy situation where a machine glitch tricks the US government into almost starting World War III.  Sure, there's some human involvement, but it's not like it totally changes the meaning of the movie.

No, Eli only *thought* it was about Alicia and Will, since the reporter was so insistent on talking to Will, but it turned out it was really the Peter/campaign worker story.

I took her reaction as "Wait, did Eli totally just lie to me about this?"  I wouldn't be surprised to see some fallout from it next week, with Kalinda saying something to the effect of "There's no way in hell I'm going to keep doing this work for you unless you are totally honest with me about everything." I figured either Eli was just trying to cover for Peter or that they did often open the door between the rooms when staying in hotels and just forgot about it.

Especially since most subletters would just want to keep the existing layout instead of paying to have it redecorated.

Ugh, that scene pissed me off so much in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man.  I get that he liked the imagery, but it was supposed to be Gwen's fall, and now everyone will think of it as MJ's.

Hmm, thing is, she would have died anyway from the fall.  So, does it ultimately matter if Spidey sped it up ever-so-slightly?

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus Fortunately, I have my 1970s Warlocks with me in Montreal (in a strange 6 issue 1980s reprint).  I seriously want to upgrade to the Marvel Masterworks reprint, but it's a little too pricey for me at the moment.  Also, it undoubtedly won't have the silly inside cover comic where Jim Starlin

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus Sadly, the bookshelf in my bedroom is occupied by my wife's shoes.  But she pretty much leaves these alone at the moment, so I'll just leave them where they are.  Should she suddenly decide she wants to tear through them (literally), I'll move the books around so that they're on a higher shelf

@MostlyPeacefulOccupyProtester:disqus In hindsight, I totally agree with you.  For some reason I had in my head that she had missed the deadline to submit their own requests for admissions, not responses to the other side's RFAs.  The first would be a big mistake, but ultimately not dispositive of anything, while the
