Yeah, it isn't so much that I'm against a cancer plot, just frustrated with the way they introduced it.

Catching up way late (season just went on Netflix in Canada), but I can't help but feel like plots like this just *can't* work in a universe that is supposed to be the same as the Doctor's.  I can see how the Doctor might miss a five day alien threat that never went anywhere because of Torchwood's quick actions.  But

Yeah, it sounds like you have SAP turned on, so you are getting the Described Video for the blind.

The cancer reveal didn't really work for me, but it probably had more to do with getting irritated with television conventions than with the acting/etc.  The second you saw the the mammogram machine, it was 100% certain she had cancer.  And that's what's so freaking irritating about it—no one on TV ever just goes and

Clone High was awesome, and this was probably the most memorable episode from the run (at least, it's the one episode I still remember periodically years after having seen it).  The recurring "nothing bad ever happens to a Kennedy" joke is hysterical.  Unfortunately, it's been like 10 years, so can't say much beyond

The batter is strangely addictive.

Also, what in the good god was Victor watching on TV?  I didn't realize Time Warner had picked up The Torture Porn Channel, nor that it was included in the basic cable package.

Leave off "through a family member" and that sentence is correct.

When Amber confronted Adam, I almost expected to add something like, "and this is the second time you and your wife have cockblocked me in the past six months!"

Yeah, that guy who liked to go driving also liked Edith.  And the farmer with the heart condition.  And the terribly scarred guy who pretended to be her cousin.

Now I have in my head those old Disney Goofy cartoons in the "How to…" series (e.g., "How to Swim", "The Art of Skiing", etc.), except it would be something like "How to Ride a Dinosaur."  And it would be totally awesome.

Well, it was reasonable to be surprised to discover she was a full-blown Dalek; I think most of us assumed she was a human-Dalek, a sleeper agent (like the woman at the beginning), or something similar.  I didn't suspect she was a Dalek-in-Dalek-suit until the moment the Doctor entered the room.
