Agree. Not sure I would have picked up Daisies of the Galaxy back in 1999 if Rabin had given it the C+ it sounds like he was leaning toward (http://www.avclub.com/artic…. I had loved Beautiful Freak, but entirely missed Electro-Shock Blues when it came out. Had I just seen "Eels - C+" or whatnot, I doubt I would

Are we supposed to interpret these grades as "in the universe of eels records, this is the worst?" Cause then I might understand the grade. But saying it's worse than all the shit out there… That doesn't make much sense to me, especially when there are glowing reviews for this album out there.

I always thought Shootenanny was pretty decent, but never really had the desire to listen to it. It's solid, it just isn't different enough from what came before for me to want to listen to it instead of Electro-Shock Blues, Daisies of the Galaxy, or Souljacker. I've probably listened to it a third as much as

lol - sad thing is, it's a random memory from an HBO comedy special that I saw once 20 years ago and it's filling up space in my brain. Maybe it's memorable because he physically threw a douche at the front row when he made the joke.

University film archives? So that the grad students of tomorrow will have access to every minor episode of L&O for use in their dissertations?

You had me at Fight Club.

At some point, there will be a review.

20Sided - I seem to remember Howie Mandel making that joke about 20 years ago.

I was thinking Topher, but am not moving away from that, as he has used the remote wipe thing himself before perfecting it, so it would also have wiped his mind were he an active. But I'm not going to say he's not, as they might have a more-perfected imprinting technology that can't be wiped in the same way that

On Ballard, my theory is they removed his memory of November.

@ Hulk - was that the same set as the exterior of MacLarens? Cause I totally had the same thought.

Loved the line about how he was seeing whatever was in theatre 10.

Yeah, I think the final episodes did everything pretty well except for the Trudy mystery - to me, it felt like it totally fell apart. What happened to Dale the Whale, for instance? How did he know whatever he knew about the murder?

Dunno, but she did guest star as herself on an ep. of Big Bang Theory…

This show would probably work a lot better in comic form. Among other things, we wouldn't be constantly tied to Eliza Dushku. She does well enough on the show, but other people can be far more interesting than Echo, but it's her show…

I think the guys from VW went to Columbia, so it worked on that level at least.

I always assumed he had a masters, which, combined with a few years of working, would qualify him for most adjunct positions. Have we seen anything suggesting he didn't have a masters?

Having also taught myself, I think this episode should be required viewing for all first-time instructors. Hilarious.

It may have been subdued, but I clearly remember thinking she was Coloured. I haven't read the novel for about ten years, though, so would have to look back at it to see what it was that identified it to me.

Guess that's what I get for referencing something I hadn't read for twenty years without looking it up first…
