Triumph of the will!

"Picnic at Hanging Rock" is my go to example for this. Yeah you can read that 'deleted last chapter', but it's way more interesting as a mystery.

Sad up vote :(

She was also on pain meds + wine, so that probably lowered inhibitions somewhat.

My mom in 1989, for one. She's a nurse so there were diagrams and everything. I distinctly remember thinking it was weird, and also that it was really only for procreation and since I was an only child my parents had therefore done it once. But I also appreciated her clearing up the mystery of where babies came from.

To be fair to Madeline, she was also high as balls.

When Diana referred to Nick as "Kelly's dad" I was actually pretty confused because I forgot the son was also named Kelly. It seemed more natural that the Kelly she was referring to was the person who was her primary caretaker for several years.

Those seemed more by design though, Grimm's love polygons seem almost incidental.

Monroe's increasingly agitated reactions to Diana made the episode for me.

"But was also still a guy willing to just blow a bunch of people" — are you slut shaming Dukat?

Yep, I'm still in the same boat.

My dad read it when it came out, and I happened to be the same age as Gage. He said he didn't read any more Stephen King for about a decade after that.

The thing is, when I read it as a kid, it didn't faze me at all. I didn't even remember that section from when I first read it at maybe 10 years old. As an adult, I was uncomfortable with it. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but it probably means something.

Henry Bowers also killed Mike's dog in a drawn out scheme, which was probably the most disturbing thing in the book for me.

It is known.

Follow the only road!

I think Bran's wolf Summer is still kicking, right?

…..fuckening?

Maybe she's being blackmailed or something?

I don't know if it's supposed to, but Eve's pronouncements to Nick that he shouldn't trust Adalind come across as 10% neutral advice and 90% petty jealousy. Which is not a story I'm particularly interested in.
