I hear you, but the episode made me feel terribly old. I graduated college in 1993!

No, "planes" as in planes of existence is the correct spelling.

The one issue I had with this episode was Walt's sidelong angry glance at Brock. Why the hell would he do that? Seemed almost like he was a cartoon villain who should have been twirling his long mustache.

He may use burners, but if the cops are close enough and have a warrant, they may get lucky and eavesdrop on his conversation. It would be a simple matter to prove the voice was Mike's.

Wouldn't the fact that Mike is now on the police radar make it fairly impossible for him to continue with Meth operations? And would he really use a cell phone at all?

Who here thinks like me, that Mike would simply kill both Walter and Jesse now? Mike believed that they were "boned" when the laptop was taken- he would have killed them both so that they couldn't be captured and give even more evidence against him- and just melted away. Who's with me?

Nope- Skylar is not one of the most sympathetic characters on the show. (1) Walt began his descent in an effort to take care of his family after he died of cancer; (2) Once he was in the meth world, it was extremely difficult, if not impossible to get out; (3) When Skylar found out she never once looked at it from…

"Winnie’s tantrum—which is real and a little frightening" - Todd, where do you come up with this stuff?

Actually, Kevin Arnold was a little shit throughout most of the series- really. Look back at all the times he sneered at Paul, yelled at Winnie, mouthed off to his mother (and later his Dad)… the list goes on. He was not really all that sympathetic a character to me.

I really can't get over that the last two episodes of the show have taken place just a few days after the death of Fanny's son. The writing doesn't reflect that at all. The attorney was basically his best friend- not broken up at all. Even Fanny seems to be holding it together quite well. Plus, let's get real…
