i stopped thinking of this as a Whedon show. With ABC, Disney, Marvel, and the Whedons involved there's just to many people. It's sad, but i'll sit through this shit until the end of the season, on the off chance something will happen. I'll keep watching, and being happy while watching, Arrow.

i'm a DC guy not a marvel guy. So, i thought this episode was pretty good by Agents of SHIELD standards but i don't have any comic baggage weighing me down. Is it a good show? Nope, but i could see this episode being a comic book.

can this show be good now?

also a guy gets his rib cage ripped out.

Speculation time:

Wow, an Everwood reference! Does that mean we'll get a TV Club review of that show…

that's a good question. But that hold for all there shows, plus there other shows aren't as costly i would think.

are the ratings that low? I'm sure they have all that Microsoft advertising money to spend.

it's something in the food. Wildlife is now being affected by the plauge and people are eating it. patrick mentioned he ate the deer that Daryl brought back. Rick say the dead deer, and the dying boar, and then the pig died inside the prison.

Seriously guys let's not complain about the grade and concentrate on the review. These reviewers grade the show based on all previous episodes. "A" Episodes are the pinacle of the show, and i can think of a few episodes better than this one.

Can't wait until the nerdy sidekick (i.e. guy or girl with glasses), who was kicked out of one of the two witch covens for going against the grain, shows up and joins the team.  This person will utimitaly turn out to be Mr. Crane's direct decendant because his hot witch wife was pregnant.

As long as it doesn't fall into a procedural with a demon of the week story, a weak overarching story, and no characterization…. wait that's exactly what this is.

Stop the hate!

this is what threw me. it's a pretty big moment for tommy but he has no real reason to say what he says. Oliver never "assumes the worst in him," he never says anything about the drugs to him. I don't understand. That flaw had me rating this episodes much much lower than the given score.

Phillip threw the bomb to Elizabeth and she threw it into the bathroom. The German hit the button and blew himself up.

so who else things Granny told Elizabeth about Phillips tryst to throw her off her game. When she says, and i paraphrase, "in Moscow some want an escalation and some don't," she doesn't let on which side of that coin she's on.

good point.

Concerning Irina. So a few things could have happened. A) She loves Philip, actually has their kid, and is running away and the "duty and honor" bit at the end was thrown in his face to spite his decision. Or it could be the complete opposite or a permeation of those. The KGB could have been testing Philip again.  I

i really hope there's a big build up of Mel going to confront him, but right before she gets to him Cozzette (sp?) comes in and blindsides him.

right there with you buddy.
