I like when Veronica called Piz "Beaverton". I have a friend I call Beaverton.

Two things I generally avoid are fan fiction and pornography, because they both make my soul hurt, but one time I read a Veronica/Mac fanfic that was seriously one of the most erotic things I've ever encountered. In fact I'm sweating a little bit right now just remembering it.
Dammit, @Scrawler2:disqus, you made me think of Pete Postlethwaite again. He's so fucking great in Luhrmann's movie.
Liked because the phrase "wee lass" always makes me smile.
Dammit, I read that and now I'm spooled.
I'm a small-breasted lady who sucks at bowling. It's my spindly arms. I look like that one freaky alien at the end of Close Encounters.
"Swamp'd"? Really? Come on, man. Look, I can sort of understand why some people feel the need to use an apostrophe when creating a preterite form for a word that's not actually a verb. Like in yesterday's "What's On Tonight", when Todd (I think) wrote "Leslie Knope'd" when "Knoped" would have served perfectly well. I…
"Why the fuck do I know lyrics to a New Kids song?"
But it's only for fans of classic Chicago math pop. Seriously, fuck those non-classic Chicago math pop bands.
Barely.

His vision and writing were crucial to the band's earlier (and in my opinion, superior) work, as evidenced by the shift from the idiosyncratic Americana folk of The Wishing Chair to the college rock of In My Tribe…
Hey, put me in the "former Lindsays who grew up to comment on pop culture websites" club too!
I think you're right on the money there, @avclub-32b63dd70d870580128d83e930199e1c:disqus.
Shh! You're killing the mystique, man.
Thanks for championing these rad ladies, Genevieve. Hell on Heels is terrific all the way through and gets frequent spins on my player. Really looking forward to the follow-up.
I'm just going to casually mention that I played at CB's a few times, so yes, I am cooler than most of you.
I saw this last month at the Portland International Film Festival, and I enjoyed it a good deal more than the reviewer seems to have. I'm a huge fan of Renoirs père et fils, as well as hot naked chicks, so that probably helped.
