I'm not sure Koh was punishing water avatar dude for anything in particular. I think that's just what Koh does and waterguy just blamed himself for not being vigilant enough. Also, are we sure the Lionturtle is actually a spirit? Aang refers to it as an "animal" and it does seem consistent with all the other crazy

There's just too much "off" about it. The George/Oscar plotline that petered out halfway through the season. Weird, cartoonish Buster getting hardly any screen time. The same scenes/jokes spread over four or five episodes. Jarring shifts in tone from scene to scene. Isla Fisher never getting to do anything. A season

I was pretty sure it flamed out well before that pilot ended. As soon as the broody rapey kid showed up, I was like "yeah this show isn't going to be any good."

Agh! Entertainment websites. 10 Xs that you won't believe Y'd!

Well, their series so far have been: a "political" melodrama based on a well-liked British show, a terrible adaptation of a terrible Twilight clone, a somewhat inferior continuation of a beloved comedy, and now this.

I suppose it's also possible the show could be brought back if it's successful in syndication. It only got cancelled last year so we're still at the point where they could probably renew it without too many problems.

They prefer "crapaud."

But the fact that they're detachable means they're easier to lose up there.

Are you implying that Thomas is capable of doing his job? Because I don't think he's done anything more involved than scowl from the bench in the last ten years.

Yeah, I'm not sure I could ever date a porn star, even if she was gorgeous, sweet, and great at sex. The way you have to approach intimacy to succeed in porn is just so far outside my comfort zone. Maybe I could get over my hangups in time, but asking anyone to put up with that kind of angst in a relationship is

Yeah, I am/have been a pretty serious stoner and drug evangelism really gets on my nerves. Telling an insecure young person to try drugs is a lot like telling a poor person to play the lottery. It COULD solve their problem, but it probably won't.

Yeah that was my first reaction as well. I used to chat with a guy with severe dyslexia and his spelling was fucking atrocious. The incredibly bizarre spellings Eval Kareebel posted remind me a lot of him. I mean there's bad spelling and then there's learning disabilities and I'm willing to bet this is the latter.

Well, given how surreal the show could be, you could probably make a case for that. Really though, my point was more that Lois never really stopped being obnoxious and overbearing. It's just that we got to see her in far more human moments as the show went on.

That wasn't even such a bad episode (I liked the two-headed goat) and there have been some downright classic episodes since. Don't let the bad episodes keep you from enjoying the good ones.

101 terrabytes is still a hundred times what you'll find in even a high end desktop computer these days (I know some people throw down hundreds of dollars for 2 tb hard drives but they're all either IT professionals or idiots who refuse to delete anything). You can store a whole library on 100 tb even assuming there

One of the most surreal moments of middle school was hearing my midwestern teacher say "fulk' instead of "fohk." I still don't know if that's or regional thing or she just didn't know how to say it.

One of the saddest moments came last season when Fry mentioned Lady Gaga. He's from 1999, he shouldn't have a damn clue who she is! More than that though, the reference just wasn't funny in any sense beyond "oh, I've heard of her!" Futurama is one of my favorite shows ever, but if moments like that are any indication

I believe you mean "would be awesome."

I also didn't like that episode much the first time or two. It just seemed sort of contrived and the Beck cameo was pretty gratuitous, but on repeat viewings the little jokes have really grown on me. "Where's the device to speed up and slow down time?" "Under the seat."

Worst episode will always be the first movie. Even though/especially because it was too long to call an "episode."
