It was lovely and quite funny - not in a ROFL way, but in a charming way, which is fine by me.

I also kind of liked In the Motherhood, which sadly also starred Jessica St. Clair, Cheryl Hines, and my spirit animal, Megan Mullally.

Huge fan of The Loop over here!

RIP Bent, you deserved a chance! I watched the About A Boy pilot and liked it much better than Todd's iffy review from last week. Definitely sticking with it. Rooting for you to have a second season, David Walton!

I actually think it was an Irish thing at one point.

And I do look forward to discussing the free skate then, but the short programs had a lot happen worth mentioning. I have liked that this time around the AV Club's Olympics reviews have had slightly different focuses each day (and I was honestly interested in everything you had to say about curling), but my personal

Thanks, Martha!

Ladies' Figure Skating is arguably the most popular event in any Winter Olympics. I do wish you'd spent some time on that as well.

I'm so glad NBC is dedicated to David Walton. He deserves better.

Hugh Grant though, right? I've never seen Hugh Dancy being an ass hole. I can't imagine poor Will Graham that way!!

I'm so with you on Walton. Here's hoping it happens sooner rather than later

It seemed to be a conscious decision on the writers' part to not use flashbacks very often to flesh out their characters, show who they were pre-apocalypse, how they handled the beginning of the zombie rise, etc. I always thought that was a missed opportunity and your point about how these characters all do the same

Maybe, but I still chuckled.

I'm going with Nick Goepper. He is adorable.

Just shy of 30 and I watch 2. And Reign is for real my favorite show to watch right now (note: I know other shows are better, but which one do I look forward to most? Yup, Reign). No shame.

Long may she REIGNNNN

I do appreciate the fashion discussion but…can we talk results and coverage as well?

That is absolutely what The Middle does so well - well said.

My sister went to Purdue. You wouldn't believe the mileage I've gotten out of "MORE LIKE PURDONT!" It's never not funny (to me). Loved hearing it come out of Axl's mouth (and of course I immediately texted her).

Yea I would definitely hope that wouldn't alter the show's progression so drastically. Butchering Damon's character and getting close there a few times with Elena is not worth them feeling a little more comfortable around each other
