I'm honestly really tired of "Boyhood’s assembling of 12 years worth of footage" ordeal. They didn't film any more footage than any other film, since they filmed for a month every year, and the cast have mentioned several times that everything they shot was mostly in the film. People seem to pick it here because they

Guys, I don't think seasons 6-7 of Buffy compare to 2-3, but as far as shows go, they weren't "bad". They were watchable, and to me didn't ruin the show overall.

I don't know, unlike Coven where i completely agree with all of the criticisms (the fact that it got more Emmy nods, and in writing, than the first two season is just awful) I actually liked this season. Oh, yes, it was messy, but the show has always been that way. I actually cared for these characters, and when they

The only flaws the show's ever had is when it goes a bit too obvious and broad with its comedy. Most of the comedy works, but sometimes it's just too much, like Mickey's flatulence (although at least there was a reason) and the fecal matter bit here, along with that guy falling down. Just way too obvious and the rare

Wow. That first half, with Mark, was just super sad. Kudrow was, once again, all kinds of amazing. The second half was funnier (again super worried about Mickey, thank god) but still biting. Another great episode, I can't wait to see how the finale plays out. I'm going to miss this show dearly, but god bless HBO for

Liked this finale, quite a lot. SOOO glad it didn't add in some climactic/thrilling scene, it proved it's confident in its story lines to not have that. Definitely think it's underrated

Like I said last week, yup, the show's become a soap opera now. I don't dislike it though, it's soooo entertaining but all of the nuance and subtlety that was present in the first few episode is gone now. Also, whereas there were just minor differences in both character's POVs before, the last two episodes have shown

Agreed!

Coherence is definitely interesting

Yeah, I think this season is underrated. Oh sure, mediocre pre-merge, but the post-merge automatically makes it equal to Caramoan and I honestly think it's better than the first Blood VS Water. I LOVED the editing this season as well. From emphasis on Josh, then Jeremy, then Jon, then Natalie. It definitely felt like

I always laugh at people claiming lists like this as being "hipster" and somehow made with the intent to not have any big movies. Could it be that, GASP, they just didn't think many big movies were in the top 20? Hard to believe yeah. The comments by people here can be quite ignorant

I like Boyhood a lot… but between its perfect Metacritic score of 100 among other factors, boy is it overrated. I do think Before Midnight was the best film of last year though

Only a B-?

She was in Coven though… not like it's worse than that.

It's funny how much people's opinions of the seasons differ. Online, Asylum is the most liked and loved by a lot, but in real life I've heard so many say it's the worst and that 1 and 3 are better.

Poorly structured and poorly plotted episode!? In AMERICAN HORROR STORY!? No way! Cuz this show always excels at plotting and structure!

What makes me think that Nat won't win is that Probst said that this year, the winner is an unexpected choice. Because of that, I say it's Baylor. SAVE THIS POST for if I'm right.

I expect the four best dramas this year to be in top 5 (Mad Men, Hannibal, Fargo, The Americans, in that order)

A B!? Oh come on! I think you're too hard on the Paulie G stuff. I never saw it as the writers being lazy. I saw it as Paulie unraveling and not caring about putting up a nicer front because he's so obviously stressed. All the energy he'd been putting towards self-control throughout the season is going elsewhere, so

Does anyone else like this season? It's been getting blasted way more than any other year on the internet (just look at Yahoo) yet Coven was a much bigger mess.
