Top 10 seasons everybody!?!!?
Top 10 seasons everybody!?!!?
Woah, I was ready dreading a Woo/Kass F2 but I had that feeling going into the finale. My mouth literally dropped when Woo voted out Kass. On one hand, I wanted to see Kass at the Final Tribal Council to see how the jury trashed her and see her responses, but at the end of the day, Woo would make a horrible winner so…
Wow. Is she really dead? The former was definitely not surprising (although I'm surprised his partner lasted longer, figured it'd be the other way around) but the other one, wow. I hate Malvo (as a person of course), but I hate Lester even more.
QUESTION- Is this going Mini-Series or Drama at the Emmys? I mean, if True Detective did the latter, this surely could too (unless it's not anthology and it's just a mini-series). I'd love it if it could beat either Breaking Bad or TD for Drama, but that probably won't happen, and I really don't want Mad Men to be…
Also, does anyone else think the show has cemented its place as one of the finest comedies ever? (although I guess that "comedy" label is pretty much gone now?) It's certainly my favorite ever.
I was originally worried about there being 6 parts to an episode of Louie, but the episodes tonight laid my fears to rest. It's definitely the show attempting something new, which is, to be like most shows and have a serialized on-going story, in both his love life and Jane it seems like. Both were really good…
I do miss it, and yet I can't say I wish the show would change what it's doing now. I actually think its minimalist nature now without revolving around more comedic absurd situations is better (Season 1 moreso than S2 did this) and also more unique.
Okay, can we take a moment and cherish the fact that this show is still delivering after 7 SEASONS!? Delivering on a really high level too, this half season has been pretty fu*king fantastic, hate that we can't rank it with the others because it's only halfway finished.
No, I didn't exactly mean just saying "no". I didn't really notice him wanting to protest or not really enjoying it.
I'm kinda getting tired of the "It's filler" or "It's table-setting" criticisms the show seems to get most of the time. I heard these descriptions thrown at episodes 3, 4, 5, and now 7 of this season. No, it's not "filler". Table-setting is definitely different, but it's still annoying. Why can't a show be great…
Hmm, great point!
I mean, I wouldn't say Paul was raped. It was definitely a power situation, but he needed to protest against it to be rape.
Alison didn't come out? No A then!
Listen, more than anything, the quality isn't what it used to be. I don't think seasons 4 and 5 hurt it all that much in its reputation (Season 4 is mediocre, but it's only one season, and Season 5 is generally well-liked enough because it is good) but the longer it goes on, the more I feel people will start not…
Fuuuuuuuu*k. How is this show even on network TV!!?!? Boggles my mind. When I saw Gillian Anderson I squealed like a pig (hehe). Seriously, give this woman all the Emmys. She's given what's my favroite TV performance ever in The X-Files and she manages to show up once in a while here and sort of blow everyone off the…
Well then… Season 1 managed to be moodier, have a more distinct atmosphere, was overall probably more unconventional than Season 2. I thought the first 5 episodes of Season 2 were somewhat lacking in the magic of Season 1, as well as making everything over-the-top and perhaps spelling stuff out to audiences a little…

Now we need more Lynch films on Blu Ray. I got Blue Velvet, and I have Mulholland Dr. on DVD, and recently got Inland Empire and Lost highway on DVD because there seems to be no Blu Rays available from those that are at a reasonable cost.
Okay, I'm super stoked about this, but does anyone not like this cover art a whole lot? The DVD Set's cover art is so much better, more reflective of the show, both moody and calm at the same time.
Okay, I think AMy Madigan is the MVP of the show. She can be chilling in a way Brown can't.
