I continue to be impressed with "Comedy Bang Bang" on IFC. Every second of that show is going somewhere. Nothing is ever just a throwaway gag. They are using their limited time very wisely.

I actually like this show, but one major criticism I have of it is that the stakes are so low for these characters. Every one of them will be fine. I agree. Jonah is as funny as Malcolm, but in a different way. He's a complete fuckup and has no actual power, but they have to pay attention to him because he represents the White House. Selina does her own bollicking well enough that a Malcolm figure is not required.

I was thinking that also. As I was re-watching this, I was also expecting a "suicide pact" reference like in the most recent Veep episode, but Terri was having none of that.
