I'm irked every time a review says its 'comic book-y'. Thats doing the format a great disservice. I'd agree with 'Silver Age-y' in that it has all the fun and the logic of a 5 year old

I can't wait to hear what made up shit he has to say about it in 5-10 years.
I would give it an 'A' solely for the opportunity I got which was to hear the Chinese crowd I saw it with laugh hysterically at Mike Tyson's pronunciation.
I love Doctor Who, and a significant reason for that is Steven Moffat.
Of course he hasn't been perfection, but no writer ever has. Whether you like him or not though, his era has kept Doctor Who one of the most liberal and progressive shows (at least in Sci-Fi dom) in terms of onscreen and behind the scenes talent,…
Making us wait a whole year to starve the general audience into interest
I will miss Moffat, he's my personal favorite, and I have plenty of faith in Chibnall (mainly from Torchwood and Broadchurch than from actual Doctor Who) but boy the way they're going about it sure pisses me off
They must've spent a whole vampire show on this episode.it in no way raised the CW bar for superhero shows, but it was fun and inconsequential enough to keep watching.
He's phenomenal to see perform. I saw him with Fuzz this last year, awesome show
People who hate the very idea of Doctor Who Christmas specials will utterly hate this one, but I generally enjoy them. B or B+ seems fair, first half was a bit herky-jerky
I hadn't even heard of 90% of this stuff until this article. I have to vehemently disagree about Broadchurch though. While it was no season one, it was a captivating watch in its own right.
I love this special, I've watched it almost every year
It was honestly so fucking enjoyable I don't even care that it was basically just a better remake of 'A New Hope' than 'The Phantom Menace' was
The only thing that kept me from being utterly blown away and keeping it from edging past Daredevil is there's just a couple episodes/storypoints that just really didn't need to happen. Daredevil managed to breathe and be a little more cohesive in its entirety.
Luther is fucking phenomenal, I'm really excited for this.
I guess its hip to shit on it now, but it's enthralled me since episode 1 aired.
I just don't think she's right for this role,
Billie Jean King isn't Hawaiian
can't believe they let these two on the show after some of the shit they've said on the campaign trail. Boycotting this one too.
The intro credits disturb and irritate me in such a delightful way, I fucking love it.
It wasn't bad, the gimmick distracted from what was inevitably a typical Gatiss episode (interesting concept and fun dialogue topped off with a contrived conclusion)
This made me laugh longer and more thoroughly than any other special in some time. Doctor recommended.
Jimmy screaming "Do you think I wanna?? nobody wanna !!" must be incorporated into my everyday life.
